positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Oh and I switched to using the temps from the new BBT, so we'll see how that goes. I really don't trust it, but you said you used it and it worked fine, so I'm going to try it out. :) My plan is to try to BD every other day from like CD10-20, and then if I haven't O'd, trying to BD every 3 or 4 days and then if I see anything even close to fertile cm, BDing a little more often. It's hard to keep up with it when you don't O early. I've now O'd 3 times in the past year, and the earliest was CD25ish, then this cycle at CD40, and then around CD50. So if it happens by CD25, I could probably deal with that, but keeping up BD for an extra 2-3 weeks would be rough. I'm really hoping with having had a period on my own vs Provera-induced, that I'll O earlier (like I did with the CD25), except even earlier with the Clomid. Crossing all my fingers and toes this cycle and going all out!!!!

yea i have only put on 8lbs so far all belly so im hoping the diet works and i dont need the meds im going to try not to stress to much this stuff happens and there isnt anything i can do besides being careful yea i loved my bbt i have everything crossed for you

Haven't been setting my alarm to temp the past 3 days....figured I'd take a little break from the alarm during AF, so my temps have been taken 40 mins/-2hrs later. Usually there isn't a big difference, but today's temp is much higher than expected. I barely had anything in my tampon from overnight (which was 10-11 hrs) so AF may be nearly gone. That would seriously be a first and I would be thrilled! I think my periods on the pill even were more like 5 days.

I guess we'll see what happens. I slept the day away and just got up for good :haha: and had some red, but nothing on my pad, so I'd say it's spotting considering I was laying there for 3 hours almost. I'm really hoping it means my body is regulating. I mean, I did O on my own and it was earlier than the last time I O'd on Provera... and that Provera AF was 6 days but didn't have any dragging days of spotting afterwards. Last time I had AF on my own without Provera I got my bfp (but chemical), so I'm hoping for earlier O and a sticky bean.

I just called and left a msg for my obgyn's office. They hadn't called me back about the Clomid. Tomorrow is my CD5, so if I don't hear from them, I guess it's going to be a natural cycle.

I think today is MzSwizz's birthday.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MZ.SWIZZ!!!:cake: HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!

My bday is Sunday and for my not-quite-mid-life-crisis, I plan on getting my cartilage pierced. I'm getting nervous about it and how long it can take to heal, but I think I'm going for it anyway. I've had a c-section, tons of gallbladder attacks, my gallbladder removed, and bled most of my adult life, I think I can handle it. We got 2 gift cards for restaurants for Christmas, so I think I'm going to use one tonight and one on Sunday. For New Years our church has a family night with a movie and food and games. I don't know if we'll go to that or not. We're home-bodies.

Do you have New Years plans or plans for the weekend, Stacey?

Well no Clomid for me. The nurse called me back and said that the doc wants me to do the mid-cycle ultrasound and day 21 progesterone test in order to do Clomid. I briefly considered lying and saying I would do it then cancel, but I'm just going to go natural this cycle and see what happens. If I would've done it last month, I would've wasted $170 (plus if the lab work had cost me money too). There's no way I'm going to do that again because you HAVE to get the u/s around CD14. The earliest I've O'd so far is CD25. I'm hoping it will be a little earlier this time, but who knows when I'll O. Sometimes I really hate doctors. This one has been good to me, but I'm irritated now. Blah. Oh well, I was almost hoping for a natural cycle because I think I will O on my own again.

Yea that is just spotting maybe a good sign that has to be nice i have been on the go today hit up walmarts after christmas sale got the 2 big girls a baby alive 45$ marked down to 14$ so they love me big time lol had to get new toys boxs plans for the weekend moving rooms around we are putting alice in with sissy and putting my niece in alice's room they are fighting to much and i dont think sharing a room is helping to much and we need to start working in the back yard to get it ready for my party in feb for my birthday its a big yard with lots to work on hmmmmm new years plan cuddles and sleep i dont like going out on nights that because of people drinking i think dh might have some friends that will be about it

Wow sounds like you're going to be busy. That stinks that the girls are fighting a lot. :( I know DS and my niece are like brother and sister and sometimes we have really good days with her, and sometimes they fight all day, just like siblings lol. I hope changing the rooms help. Aww and yay for after Christmas deals! I'm hoping that in maybe a week or so I'll find some like 90 percent off clearance lol...

My 2nd birthday present to myself! My first one was ordering more contacts, but from Canada, because I thought it would be dumb to have to pay $80 for another exam lol. My present tonight was that I finally got my cartilage pierced.

I like it my eye doctor is cheap for the exam its the contacts that is out there plus i always lose one lol have no clue what i want for my birthday maybe just a night out with dh its been while that we have gone out kid free but then i feel bad because we are out without them :-\

Aww I understand. We didn't have our first night out without DS til he was 6 months old. We were gone for 3 or 4 hours and I was so nervous because he was nursing still, but he was absolutely fine. Still now when we go away it's not for long. Last night was dinner and the piercing, so it did take close to 3 hours. Sometimes if it's just dinner it's less than an hour lol. We don't usually have date nights often, but it's pretty easy for us since Mom lives downstairs and used to live next door and we only have 1 LO.

Lol my FIL is down and staying with us till little guy comes he is great about keeping the girls if we ask but we dont like asking him he did end up keeping them when i went for my 3 hour test we do breakfast dates with the girls

Well I started off my 30s with DS being sick overnight- threw up hourly from about 4 a.m.-8 a.m. The first time we had no warning and it went all over our bed. We got up about an hour ago, and he's feeling mostly better.

My temp was taken on time, but I did wake up a few times in the 3 hrs before it, so I guess I have to mark is as a disturbance. Blah. I had planned to go to church then out to lunch, but that didn't happen of course. Mom's having cake and ice cream for me at 6 and she's also cooking dinner for everyone, so at least we get to eat without it being fast food or me cooking. I was really looking forward to going to this restaurant. Maybe we'll go tomorrow. I just asked DH and he doesn't work tomorrow or Tuesday.... Yay!! :happydance:

Happy Birthday and what a way to start it lol poor guy mmmm cake i have wanted nothing but sweets the last two days and cant ughhhh nice wow cant believe its almost 2013 this year seem to fly right by i got all my plans but the yard work done it was to wet and cold out so hopefuly this week

To say you have yard work in Dec. sounds crazy! ha I guess that's a bonus for living in Florida. Here the only yard work right now is shoveling snow.

that is the down side it living in fl you dont get much of a break from the heat now this morning it is a nice 45 out which is nice sitting outside with coffee morning

Well I hope everyone had a nice New Year. We stayed up and watched the ball drop and that was pretty much all we did lol.

Nothing too exciting around here other than that I have actually had a bit of a drive the past couple days and my cm has been pretty fertile- moreso than when I O'd last time. It's not quite ewcm, but it is a watery/slippery mix. I'm wondering if I'm going to O early or just maybe gear up to, then O later. I'd love to O early. That would be amazing! Even Oing before CD25 would make me happy. If I could O early, I think we'd have a nice shot. I was considering running out and getting some opks, but I'm going to try to hold off. I've enjoyed my time without the opks... Less depressing. Plus if I see a negative, it sort of puts me out of the mood... and if I don't know if/when the OPKs are positive, it is definitely less pressure on DH.

I tried to stay up but only made it to 11 just go with your body and watch for sign the month we finally got prenant with alice that what i did it was the first time i ever had a crap load of ewcm all day long and i didnt take an opk till that night and wasnt planing on dtd but i woke up at midnight in the mood really bad and woke dh up it was the first time in a long i didnt going thinking about oh did we get pregnant this time it was nice

Yea that's the plan, though I think there will always be baby thoughts. I've been terrible with temping so far too... Ugh. Set my alarm today, turned it off, and apparently fell back asleep for 3 hours. I guess it doesn't help when you watch tv til 3 a.m. then can't fall asleep til 5 a.m. Grrr. I've got to get the old cell phone charged so I can use the alarm on it. I love having the cell phone alarm. I'm more likely to hit snooze a couple times vs turning it right off.
