positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Im on cd10 today an my appt is in 2 days I called the doc and they said they dont schedule the IUIs they usually just let them come in as walk ins. So dh and i want to go in when they first open so he has a chance to get in and be done and be able to go back to work. Nothing else to report other than we will start using preseed tomorrow. Hoping this cycle really is the cycle. Only time will tell.

hi i got positive opks on cd 17 and 18, cd 19 very positive(test line was 5x darker than control line). when it got to cd 36 when af was due had no af and slight cramps very sore nipples and very very positive opk( 5x darker than control line again. its now cd 39 and iv had a very very dark opk everyday since cd36. they go super dark within seconds of weeing on them? whats going on!

When that happened to me i didnt ovulate that cycle. So maybe your body is trying to ov but it fails so it tries again.

Jasmine... either you're body is trying to ovulate again or you're pregnant. If you're pregnancy tests are negative, then it isn't from that. Have you been using OPKs the whole time where they went from negative to positive to negative to positive? I had 2 positive OPKs already this cycle and no ovulation (even though my chart shows that I did- I did NOT O, especially to 40 days ago).

Nothing new here. I've slept horribly the past 3 nights, but a couple naps threw me off I think. I started babysitting Friday after being off about 3 weeks due to Christmas break and then our nasty weather. So I'm extra tired from getting up early. Last night I laid on the couch hoping to sleep for an hour, but I slept from 8:30-11:30 and then of course couldn't fall asleep when we all went up to bed at 12:30... It was at least 3 before I got to sleep and the neighbors had 2 dogs that barked til 1 a.m. then started up again sometime before I had to be up at 7. They're still at it. :/

DH went to a new chiropractor who specializes in acupuncture to help him out with his arm troubles he has been having for a few years. It was a free consultation and I asked about acupuncture for fertility and he does do that... said when he started out, that's what he specialized in- working with a local fertility clinic for patients who were going through IVF. He said with him there was a 15% increase in success over those who did IVF without his acupuncture. It's high tech now too, where they can run a diagnostic through the computer and see what energy areas are blocked/ what might be wrong with you. So I may consider it. We'll see. To do the diagnostic is $180 but then the visits are just $45. Yesterday was a harder day for me- feeling down about all of it (before the appt). So we'll see what happens. If for some reason this cycle doesn't work and you have time to try next cycle, acupuncture might be worth looking into.

L.E. hoping you can get some sleep soon. And thanks for the info. I shall look it up and see. I have always thought about it but was always afraid to try it out But im thinking if it doesnt work this cycle, then next cycle i will try it. Also, my old neighbors always had parties and an annoying dog to keep us up so we are glad that they finally moved.

Im on cd11 today and tomorrow i go in for my follicle scan Today is the day that DH and I try the preseed and then refrain from sex tomorrow and after the trigger shot tomorrow, the following day i have the IUI and then we dtd with preseed after that. So our plan is finally in action. Feels good to know now that we are sooooo close to the scan, trigger shot and IUI. Makes time go by faster. We plan on doing the IUI around 8-9am So anxious about that. Also, last night i had a dream. It was about me being in the bathroom, i took a test and it was the cb plus test that i used before. It came back positive. We called my doc and made an appt. Then the dream fast forwarded to dh and i being at the doc appt and the nurse said congratulations we finally are pregnant and we were just talking about dh's SA results etc. It was so surreal. Hoping it comes true. Just have to have a little more patience to get me through these 2 weeks. DH hid my hpt so it wont be hard to go without testing

No I only tested when due to ovulate which is when they were only just positives with 1 very dark as I had cramps etc. Then cramping stopped until day af was due and now 4 x very dark opks everyday since. I tried testin an hour earlier today but as soon as I dipped it the test line when purpurple and control line pale pink again. Had a weird feelin alday today in my uterus like how it feels when you have held a wee for too long. Have docs wed next week. Worried there is something wrong. X

Thanks hun hope u get ur BFP very soon, by the docs appointment I will be 12 days late atm upto 84 hours of a dark dark purple test line and pale pink control line, colour not changed in the slightest yet so if I am tryin to o don't no when I'd be due on x

Just had a thought, If I was tryin to o again wouldn't I get the normal o pains and cramps I get with ovulation every month? Maybe my bodies just had enough! Lol x

Jasmine-Just a question...do you know if its possible for you to have PCOS? Ive heard of women getting alot of positives when they have PCOS.

Today is cd12 and also today is my follicle scan I got to leave out here around 10am so in 3 hours, I will be heading to my appt. Well thats after i drop my friend off to her appt. Im hoping to get good news during the follicle scan. Hoping for 2 or more follies to be labeled as mature. Last night, dh and i finally tried the preseed. I wanted him to be a part of this process in every step of the way. So i was able to put the lubricant inside the applicator for him and then i laid down and let him insert the preseed vaginally. I think it made DH feel good because he was helping out. I must say the preseed is amazing!! I see why women get pregnant afterwards His semen usually comes out somewhat even after laying down for 15 mins but this time, nothing came out. Only some of the lubricant So now we have to refrain from sex today and then IUI tomorrow Im really hoping that this cycle is our bfp cycle. But will have 2 weeks to find out..even though im pretty sure i will be testing before im 14dpo

Jasmine, did you already take a pregnancy test? I get random positive OPKs but not for days at a time and I have PCOS. Mine will be equally dark to the control line (like today) often, but that's not positive for me. If you haven't already, take a pregnancy test.

How'd the follicle scan go, MzSwizz? I just took an OPK and it's equal to the control, but I know it isn't positive for me. When the dye was first running the test line was lighter than the control, then it darkened. When mine are truly positive they are as dark or darker than the control immediately. But I've had 2 positives already this long cycle and no O. Blah.

my scan went great. I ended up with 7 follies They were all in my left ovary which would makes sense on why i have been cramping on my left side My doc says looks like we've got an octomom on our hands But he was thinking that either 1 or 2 may release but he said but then again they all might release so who knows. I did get my trigger shot today at 12:45ish and DH and I will be going in tomorrow at 7:30am to do the IUI. My doc told me i can come in at 7:30am Also, he will tell dh his SA results. So fxed that this month is a bfp. Everyone keeps saying this cycle is my cycle...even my friends here and i am realllllyyyy hoping and praying right along with them that this is it. I asked the doc how long does the trigger usually lasts and he said around 7-10 days and you should ovulate within 36 hours no later. So let's see what happens. Already i am cramping so that's a good sign meaning the trigger shot has been absorbed very well. Hoping this is the month.
