positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

I am on cd13 today. I just made it home from the IUI procedure. DH stayed with me through out the whole process They were able to inseminate 2 syringes worth of DH's sperm We also received his results for his SA which came out great. My doc said that 40 million is considered the normal amount of semen and dh had a count of 88 million He was reading off everything to us and he said that all his results came back above normal So i was really excited to do the IUI. I have been cramping during and after the procedure which he said was completely normal. Also, i had to sign the consent form for him to do the IUI. I laid in the room for 45 mins and then we came home. I did notice a little spotting but I heard that is normal also. During the car ride, I started cramping in my left ovary again so maybe we were just in time because im thinking i might ovulate today. Well, DH wants to test on the 30th but i may or may not try to sneak and test a little earlier than that But we shall see. Tomorrow marks 1dpiui for me. Im excited and cant wait to see if we conceived this cycle. Now the tww begins

I was going to but dh refuses to feed my poas addiction. He wants me to wait it out. But i might just test around 6dpo to see if its still there.

Yay! Glad everything went well and that DH's swimmers are above average! That's a big help in ttc.

Nothing new around here. Have had a little spotting yesterday and today- nothing major, but there none-the-less. My temp has been on a downward trend, with it being pretty low this morning. I woke up a 1/2 hr late so I didn't get to warm the thermometer as much as usual and temped sitting up, but I did temp twice so the thermometer should've been pretty much warmed up. First temp was 96.50 which is super low, but then the 2nd was 96.80, so I went with that. We'll see what happens tomorrow. I took an opk but forgot to look at it within the time frame. I saw in the first few seconds that it didn't look immediately positive, so I considered it negative and forgot about it... remembered it a while (an hour?) later and it was probably technically positive, but I'm considering it negative, but not marking it on my chart. I may pick up a few more tests tomorrow.

MzSwizz there is no way I could wait til 14 dpiui... I'd say 7 dpo to see if the trigger is gone, then maybe 10 dpo and 14 dpo would be fair and not too obsessive. DH is probably right to want you to wait, but I don't know how that's possible lol.

hi ladies I wanted to ask do you think that the second to the last test is positive? the last one seems to have gone negative and it was only 5 hours later.

I would say the cd13 opk was positive. If it is equal in color or darker then it is considered positive.

Being completely honest it doesn't look quite positive but very nearly. maybe you caught your surge on the way out?

that said I don't really know anything about these tests in particular xx

no havent been tested for pcos but have a docs appointment wednesday morning to see if they will test me. I got my 7th day of positive today, even tried testing early yesterday and late but no change still stupidly dark test line and light control line as soon as dipped in wee. Ive read about pcos, dont have any of the symptoms but am gonna ask them to test me as have no pregnancy symptoms either. just fed up of not being normal x

Florida-what part of florida are you located in? Im from miami, florida but ever since the military, dh and i are stationed over here in washington. And yay hopefully we get good news on the 30th!

Jasmine- have you taken another pregnancy test to see if its possible that you're pregnant. And i totally know what you mean. I stopped using opks because i would randomly get bold positives through out my cycles so i just gave up.

Im 1 dpo/dpiui today the tww officially beings. The only time i delt cramping was yesterday when we were heading home and that was from the left ovary side. Im thinking that we caught ovulation just in time because i feel like it may have happened 1 hour after the procedure so if thats true, then we may have caught the egg. Fxed we did. No cramps or spotting today. I cant wait until the 30th to test. Even though, im pretty sure im going to test earlier than that. Also, i have a consultation on february 3rd with the surgeon to check about the whole bulge situation. I was thinking it couldve been another hernia but it has never came back at all. So i have no clue what that was about at all. But all is well over here. Just patiently waiting and going to try not to symptom spot starting around 6dpo. So we shall see.

I'm from st pete fl. And of course I have family in Miami. I think I'm ovulating today I think it was the end of my surge so I should be 1 dpo tomorrow

MzSwizz, my temp was low again this morning... and I even temped late. I know my thermometer was warmed up because I fell asleep with it in my mouth lol. I did feel chilly but I'm pretty sure I was all covered up. Anyway, I'm going to try to get opks later and see if they go positive. I think I'll buy 10 of them lol.
