positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Well im 10dpo and today and the spotting hasnt increased at all and my temp rose When i took my temp, i checked the thermometer to see if the pink was now darker but there was nothing but white cm on it. And all the hours before taking my temp..i wiped and it was nothing but white cm. I still have on the pad from last night and there is not one spot on the pad at all. The pink had came back AFTER i took my temp and im assuming its because the thermometer rubbed against my cervix or irritated something in there. Im feeling pretty optimistic about this. Hoping it really is IB. I will be testing on Friday so cant wait. And I will be observing to see if it turns into an early AF which im praying it doesnt. Also i am getting on and off mild cramping so hopign this is a good sign. Please God let it be a bfp

Don't test yet MsSwizz..in case its and imp. dip then its going to need about 2 days after the dip to get hcg going really good. I know you can do it, you have more self control than the 2 of us... I hope some of that has rubbed off onto me

And L.E. is going to make me get on Amazon and get Wondfo's with that comment about ordering more Darn-it!!

LOL Sorry. If you can just do the temps that would be great. I ended up taking my thermometer back because it just wasn't accurate. I don't think I'll be temping unless we magically get on a schedule and I can fall asleep at night most nights.

It's nice being able to drink as much water as you want all day long! I used to always have clear pee, but since TTC, it's darker because I'm usually limiting fluids. I hope I'm not doing any damage. I end up drinking more at night, which is why FMU is never concentrated for me and I don't test with it.

L.E. it is nice to drink all the water I want and even truly enjoy juice...lol Matter of fact I am drinking water right now. The thing is the limiting water can cause the lack of fertile CM. I would rather have fertile CM then deal with the opks. You know who has a good thermometer? Wal*Mart, Plus it's a reasonable price. But if you aren't sleeping then you won't get a good reading I have found that since I decided to leave the opks out, I sleep better at night. I don't have one opk in this house! The stress of opk's, temping, being thirtsty, and checking CP/CM was just too much. So I am not thirsty anymore and the opks are so outta' there. Now I wait to ovulate....If I catch it I catch it, If I don't then I don't.


Since you aren't temping you do have to use the opks...I look at it this way heck drink at night, can't make pee with no fluids; then use your SMU instead. Is you SMU diluted also? Well if you aren't seeing any spotting at all then it is likely that you haven't ovulated yet. WHICH GIVES MORE TIME TO DANCE!!!

Fngrs, I agree...It's hard to say if you'll O later or not. For me it's definitely delayed but I don't have a normal cycle as it is. I looked it up and it goes either way.

I agree with you both. Honestly, my temps are looking really good! like actual Pre-O temps they are really low. I like that. Last cycle they were higher than usual for me. Or should I say these may be different, because they are lower than usual...lol either way I am loving them. I could just hug my chart. And hopefully ovulation will be predicted for just one day and I won't get the "you could have ovulated between ___and ___" Good job temps!!!

just an update...im having super light pink spotting and mild cramps. hoping its IB.

I looked at your chart today...it's ok if the spotting lasts a few days?! It's normal to have a little spotting a few days and it still be imp. spotting. And that temp rise looks promising

Well today is CD55... bfn on Dollar Tree today means I didn't O yet... sigh... If I don't get a bfp and a sticky bean after all this waiting, I'll most-likely start Clomid.

well its a darker pink now kind of close to red. so im thinking its AF

Didn't it start at 8 dpo? That's awful early, isn't it? It's not AF til it's a flow, so you're not out yet!

it started at 9dpo and yes thats very early. well its still not a full flow yet. still light..spotting like still. so its on and off. one minute it looks red then after a few wipes its pink. one minute it looks like its going to come full force..the next its just light so i dont know.

MsSwizz I have read posts about ladies who spotted for several days and it was implantation. You aren't out until you are out! So you are still in the running until it shows all the way.

thanks fngrs. im more hopeful now because it still isnt a light flow yet. and the drops that were on the pad is still there. it isnt an increase. the blood increased after dtd so it may not be AF. Just got to wait and see.

Apparently all the spotting talk sunk into my subconscious lol... I just started spotting. Not sure if it's from the cycle being so long or if AF is on her way or what. I checked my cvx at 1 and there was just watery cm... and then at 2:55 pm there was just a little dark pink on the tp when I wiped. I checked my cvx again and there was just a tiny bit and it was watery (mixed with cm I guess). My cvx feels pretty high and soft so I don't know. Guess we'll see.

i just randomly took my temp and it is 98.93. Is that good?

Hmm I don't know anything about that really. Hopefully it's a good sign for you. I just took my temp to compare lol... and it was what I call my normal temp 97.7 but I've temped randomly this week and sometimes I'd get a number as high as 99.1 and I don't know why... weird. I think your BBT in the morning will tell you more. I can't believe you haven't tested yet!

I just checked again at the bathroom and this "spotting" is about as little bit as you could imagine. So little that when I did a cvx check that you can't tell anything is pink until you wipe it off with tp (tmi lol)... It was that light. Considering I have no idea where I'm at cycle-wise, it really means nothing for me.

It really makes me curious because I woke up with a ton of cm on 3/27, even had a little ewcm once that day, had a headache all day, and was crampy at bed time... then 3/28 I had a headache at bedtime, but BD anyway, and 3/29 I was crampy and my BBS hurt. Then 1:30 am on 4/2 I was quite crampy for a while with pelvic pressure and a slight back ache. And of course I didn't use opks from 3:30 pm on 3/28 til 12:50 pm on 3/31... go figure. I highly doubt that I O'd during that time, but it sure does get my mind going.

Of course this very well could be nothing, AF coming, or the start of my "bad" bleeding, though I don't think my bad bleeding would start up again just yet and hopefully not at all while on the Metformin. It's just like my body to get me wondering again when I was positive I hadn't O'd yet.
