Yes 62 days is really really long... but I know a lot of women with PCOS have super-long cycles. When I conceived my son (before my diagnosis and before Metformin), I had a period on my own around Thanksgiving of 2005 and apparently ovulated around Feb. 2, 2006, with nothing in between... so that was about CD70 when I O'd. I know that's not normal but hey I have an amazing little boy from it so no complaints there. And that was after stopping Provera in Aug of that year, having a provera period in August and then nothing til that Nov one on my own.
If I temp, it would most definitely be orally. I wouldn't want to do it the other way. For one thing, our DS sleeps in our bed with us, and there's no way I'd want to have to explain that one to him if he woke up lol.
I can hardly wait until you start it again. So explain it to me. You take Provera "X" amount of days, then stop for AF? Or is it you take them everyday? Is it suppose to induce a period, or cause Ovulation which induces the LP, thus making an actual cycle complete. It would have been better if I ask what does it do and how long do you have to take it... But we both seem to be long winded and love long posts...lol I do for sure.
Oh gosh, imagine explaining that!! Oh no, not if he co-sleeps with you guys. It isn't possible to do vaginal temps. I would imagine having to even sleep with no underwear on just so that temping vaginally would be easy, no fighting with clothing so you temp will be accurate. I also imagine it would be quite WRONG to sleep like that with a child in the room. I can't even go in front of my children without a bra on under my clothing (PJ's, nightgown, etc) and although I am "fully dressed" I still wear a robe. I have 2 boys, and teaching them respect by leading by example is a must. My DH never takes his shirt off and walks around in the house while the kids are here. He sleeps with a shirt on. Some men can't but he does, we also have our DD so I love that he respects our children, and doesn't just say their kids oh well.
I sometimes hate going to my older brothers (where we went last night), he walks around in front of anyone with just boxers on, no shirt, no robe. Just the boxers. I love him, but I hate that he does that. It doesn't matter if my daughter is there or his daughters. I think it's distasteful, especially since there is the opening in the front of the boxers and we (mom, myself, and grandmother) have ended up seeing more than wanted to. Oh that makes me want to gag... <-- yes all of that wrapped into one. But I love him, you asked him to get dressed and he won't! lol
So with all of that babbling out of the way...I took another opk this morning! Here it is my friend!!! Negative..and my urine look like it should have. Not like when I threw it out. When I threw it out it looked like the most watered down Mountain Dew in the world...lol Bad comparison, some people may drink that on here..Sorry lol taking another later at about 9:30 or 10. Last opk too...oh noooo! What will I pee on now?! my hpt's won't be here til' tomorrow... guess I will have to wait or stalk the mailbox...
