positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Aww don't fret just yet, Fngrs! I bet you'll see that rise tomorrow. Seeing as how your cycles are just about ideal, I don't know if I'd mess with them... I mean unless you don't get your temp rise because that would be so unusual for you. But they say a wacky cycle here and there is to be expected. It just stinks when those happen when you're TTC. If it makes you feel better, I have NEVER had a normal cycle (besides on the pill... which isn't normal anyway).

MzSwizz, well a bfp would be better, but as long as this is legitimately AF (and not just bleeding), then that's good to have the fresh start.

I just took my 2nd dose of 80 mg today. I did not notice any hot flashes earlier with my first dose, but we'll see what happens. Thankfully I haven't felt too grouchy like some people do and I haven't had any headaches. So far so good. Now if I would just stop spotting, ovulate, conceive, get a BFP, and a forever baby, I'd be over the moon! That's not too much to ask, is it? LOL

Well we were both right it rose this morning, it's a really good shift too. I caught myself twice in the night with the stupid foot out of the bed again. It's just habit for me, I have been doing that for years now. Even before TTC...it's gotten so bad with the foot and leg out thing, Dh has started doing it too when he gets overheated too. I have rubbed off on him.

Yea, they are ideal hunh? And it is unusual for me. I just hate those slow rise thermal's! Oh gosh and the Ambiguous shift is the worst. FF doesn't know when to calculate ovulation on those cycles. He might not want to tamper with them, especially if I brought my charts to him. He would look at me with those blazing blue eyes, tell me I am just fine, smile, and send me on my way.

TCOYF book says that some women are slow to respond to progesterone, so they can ovulate and not see a thermal shift for a few days after. I am still going to go with CD16 for ovulation though. So today is 1dpo I guess. Now only 11 more days to wait for the ugly witch or the bfp..

I am glad the hot flashes are gone. I am going to wish the spotting away with you, and for ovulation to come and the bfp and the wonderfully cute forever baby! I don't think that that's too much to ask.

@L.E. yes it is actually AF but im not bummed about it. Rather have a fresh cycle then to have to be tortured with another long cycle. Hopefully we all get our bfp this cycle

@Fngrs-DH had did the ASVAB in high school so he knows what he is getting himself into. He said his scores were very high but he didnt go into any military. And yes the kickboxing etc is intense my body is still sore Yay for your thermal shift!! I knew it was going to happen soon. What im hoping is to get a bfp before getting on any meds but if i do get on meds then i know we will have a higher chance at conceiving twins. Also the thing is..its both of our generations time to have twins and dh and i are both the last ones in our generation and since none of the others had twins....we are thinking that also would increase the chance My mom keeps saying she know im going to have twins and it will be a boy and a girl. My dad also said my mom is never wrong about pregnancies.....so we shall see.

AFM, today is cd2 and the bleeding has went from a light flow to a medium flow so its definitely AF. Im proud of myself on how i handled last cycle though. Even though i experienced a long bleed, i was still optimistic and when AF appeared, I wasnt disappointed or sad. I just grabbed a pad and carried on with my day. I wasnt even hopeful that it could be IB or pregnancy related or stressing about what it could really mean. I must say that Im not stressing about my cycles and it feels pretty good. Also, if you check out my chart overlay, it looks like this cycle might have the lowest temps so far out of the 3 cycles. So maybe this time my cycle is on track and hopefully i ov because starting, my temps are pretty low which is good. FF has me so far with an 11 day LP and an average cycle length of 34 days. March cycle lasted 35 days and April cycle lasted 33 days. So it seems like my body is sort of on a set schedule. Im happy about that. Atleast my cycles arent all over the place like they use to be. FF also estimated next AF on June 12 or 13th. So we shall see if it will be a June bfp or not. And dh setup a 60 day program on the UFC trainer and started yesterday. That 1 workout alone made him burn more than 200 calories And it has the calendar so atleast he doesnt choose to workout on his own days because that 60 day program would never get done So im happy for him that he is really serious about everything and working hard to get things accomplished. Hopefully all the work we have been doing will pay off soon.

Dear Evil, evil witch,
I am writing this letter, not to be rude, but, to ask you to: 1) take into consideration that you may visit entirely too much. And 2) realize that I need you to avoid visiting me for another 9 months. You have been closer to me than any friend could be. You have visited religiously every cycle, never forgetting to bring the gifts your bring. The bloating wasn't a very nice gift, neither is the backache, or extreme hunger. But I have accepted your gifts graciously and without too much complaining. The boost of energy is by far the best thing you give to me; it has helped me rearrange furniture, no doubt. But if you want to be viewed as "not so evil", then as a "faithful friend", you should stay away for the 9 months, like I have asked. I promise to welcome you back with open arms, 9 months and 1 day later. I won't complain about your visits anymore if you could be kind this time around. I may even have a "DIVA" day with you, when you finally come to visit. I will get my nails manicured and feet pedicured (professionally), we will have lunch in a quiet cozy cafe`, and shop a little at the dreaded mall. SCOUTS HONOR! Last night got into the 40s here and I checked the thermostat, but forgot to actually turn the furnace on, so it was about 10 degrees colder than normal in here this morning and I was coooold. I don't know if that's why my temp was so low or not, or if the soy is messing with them. It's still within my normal, though, but we'll see. I took my 160 mg of Soy yesterday and will do so today and tomorrow. I'm already losing hope that it will work. I mean, I have been feeling "activity" in the area of both ovaries since the soy, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll randomly have twitches there, but not usually every day, and sometimes these feel pretty strong. So, I guess we'll see.

Thanks L.E. it is a nice spike. I seem to have found a way around not being able to get on. hope you ladies can get on as well. Temps in the 40's...Brrrr that is sooo cold! I think it's in the 80's here, maybe a little warmer than that. That low temp could be caused by either. I am glad that you are having some ovary action L.E. this might be it!! Helllooo ovulation! and Helllo bfp!

Well things on the thread are missing or misplaced..some things don't have icons just text. I see statics have moved to the bottom of my homepage (I am sure everyone's page is like this though). I read your letter and I absolutely love it!! I hope more people post a letter, I am eager to read them.

My temp dipped this morning...Maybe it's just a fallback rise. I hate those. FF has a problem finding ovulation if they dip too low. Plus I saw ferning on my microscope this morning. I didn't expect to see that much...So I wiped it and took another sample. Will add a pic later.

I thought I was the only one having trouble on here. I am experiencing the same thing. I wonder what's going on with BNB today. Also, it could be a fall back temp so i wouldnt worry. I think i usually get my fall back around 4dpo. So hopefully your temp goes up tomorrow and then it will give you the crosshairs.

AFM, today i am on cd3. My temps are still staying pretty low so thats good And now the bleeding is heavy which normally happens on cd3 so my cycle is right on schedule for now Im off work today so I got to go down and visit my Mom but before that, Im going to clean up a bit around here. 4 more days to go before i can go back to dtd and using the opks. Im ready to get this cycle rolling. Also, my dh kept saying that if we dont conceive before going to the doc then its a high possibility we are going to have twins once my ob/gyn starts issuing meds. I've noticed he keeps reminding me about it...he seems more excited than anything hmmm wonder why

Fngrs, did you have full ferning? I don't know what's normal with those so I'm probably no help. Hopefully your temp will shoot way past all your pre-O temps tomorrow.

Apparently my low temp yesterday was accurate because it was similarly low today. My spotting seems to have been mixed with either lining or fertile cm the past 2 days or so... not sure what to think of it. I'll just assume it is lining unless I get really obvious ewcm or positive opks. My OPKs are still light right now. My cvx seems to be really high though... couldn't reach it but I also have that curve/bump right now. So yea really nothing new here.

MzSwizz... AF stinks but at least she's following a normal pattern for you. Normal sounds great to me most of the time.

Thanks, MzSwizz! My body is just very extreme... I probably sound ilke a whiner because I was unhappy bleeding all the time, and now I'm unhappy on a long cycle (though I have been spotting for a month!! grr). I say I just would like a normal cycle. That's it. Even close would be nice. Last month was close (about 40 days) but we all know it ended badly.

You're welcome L.E. And of course you dont sound like a whiner. We all go through whacky cycles and need somebody to talk to so thats what we are here for. I know i use to go without AF for months and thought that I would never conceive the way my cycles are going and then BAM i was pregnant but ended in m/c and then ever since then, my cycles have been coming every month. So even though i experience some crazy times im thankful that it comes every month. Now i just got to worry about o'ing every month because if i ov every other month that means we only have 6 times out the year each year to try which sucks. I hope we all get our bfps soon because we well and truly deserve them. Especially you

AFM, im on cd4 and my temp rose to 97.80 but i discarded the temp due to me having a toothache and i took meds. I tried aleve but it didnt really work so i took tylenol before bed so im assuming one of those, if not both, contributed to the rise in temp. Well, dh and i both work today but i get off early so im happy. I have been having a rather good time at work and my supervisor hasnt been rude lately so thats good. Also, i have found out that we are getting 2 new part-time employees Happy about that because they would be in my age group so now i will have somebody to talk to. Also, hopefully now i wont have to stay late so i might be able to leave on time compared to staying 15 minutes after on most days. So everything is going well. DH is still on his 60 day program. He missed 1 day because we came home very late so thats understandable but he didnt miss yesterday's workout so i was happy that he is staying on it. I found out my friend's due date is Oct. 4th so she doesn't have long to go. Looking at FF, it put possible ov on June 1st so we shall see if that happens. If i do ov on June 1st and conceive, then my edd would be in March which is the same month of my other best friend's birthday so we shall see. Yesterday, I had a good day except for the excruciating toothache. Its not as bad as it was yesterday so its getting better. I put some orajel on it so its helping. Also, my mom and i both dyed our hair. Mines is red and hers is blonde. The color is different but it looks nice on her because she is very light skinned (alot of people mistaked her for spanish ). My hair is a nice burgundy color. I love it. Well, the bleeding is medium/heavy for now. 3 more days before AF suppose to end. Hopefully AF leaves on time this time around.
