positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

Wow you all were busy posting this morning!
Stacey- your girls (and niece) are adorable! I'm glad they're not super-sick now. My DS is your oldest DDs age, and I home schooled this year (still going since we got behind), but I plan on doing that at the very least through 6th grade, and then we'll discuss Jr high then High School.
MzSwizz- I hope you made a little sticky bean!! I was really surprised to see how light the stick was on the Smiley opk. I was sitting there trying to figure out if I was looking at it wrong lol. I think there's a very good chance you caught the surge on the way down. The timing on that would be awesome!
Fngrs, I don't know about it being a boy or girl thing for being smart, but sometimes it's just luck of the draw and sometimes I really think some kids aren't worked with as much. When it's in the same household, it's probably luck of the draw though. I think sometimes for boys it's maturity level too. Sometimes they're smart but they have no interest in school. My brother is a good example of that, and my nephew too... Both had bad grades, skipped school, and eventually dropped out. But when they went for their GEDs, both of them passed the pre-test and then the actual test first try without having to take any classes. They were plenty smart-enough but had no interest in going to school.
Thanks for the info about ovulating during bleeding. I honestly think the dip was random, though it still leaves me scratching my head since it was such a big dip. I'm still having on/off bleeding and spotting so unless my temps do something dramatic in the next couple days, I'm still going to try to get started on Provera and Clomid as soon as I can. I've got my paperwork out right now to finish up and then plan on calling the office.

L.E. yes i was thinking the same way after i actually posted the pics and looked at them. I was like i thought it suppose to be darker than that 
But seeing as it was a smiley i didnt think to just check the temps. I told dh that i o'd already and we are in with a chance and he had a smile on his face so i think he is happy which is good. I think you should try and put temps similar to today's temp for the next 2 days and see if FF puts ov as yesterday.

well atleast you know. But to me that is one major random dip. Hopefully its like that when you do ov. I think if you change the light flow to spotting it might put it as ov. but since your flow is labeled as light..it is putting as menses.

Yea some of the days I wasn't sure what to call it... like yesterday was just spotting most of the day, medium flow for maybe an hour, then back to light and spotting... spotting overnight, a bit of a light flow with a passenger (kwim) for just a few mins, and back to barely spotting now. When I filled in my chart I had just had the light flow but I'm changing it to spotting for today and yesterday, and just noting it. TCOYF wasn't filled out for today and I left yesterday at spotting and it still didn't show O with the fake temps. I think today's temp is so much like my normal ones that yesterday's was a fluke. Here is TCOYF with this cycle's adjusted temps... Lovely and pretty uniform except yesterday.

Ok so if I put in 3 temps higher than 97.4 it will give me dotted cross-hairs saying today was O day, but I don't think it is and it would do that any time I put in 3 temps that high.
I also changed my temp on Sunday... not sure which to use. If I keep it changed, you can see the temp falls perfectly on that downward dip. Here's what happened and you can tell me what to use (pretty please). I usually temp at 9:00 (late to bed, late to rise- usually go back to sleep after I temp). So I woke up around 8 a.m. and my temp was 97.06 and I felt really hot (too many blankets or the A/C didn't kick on a lot, not sure). I *think* I got up and went pee and came right back to bed. I'm not positive if I got up and went to the bathroom or not lol... that was 2 days ago. I know I went right back to sleep. Woke up at 9:05 and my temp was 96.72. I thought that was weird since it was lower than before, checked again and it was 96.90 (It usually is a little higher the 2nd time if you temp 2x in a row)... So I wasn't sure which temp to use. Plus DS and I were on an air mattress and I think he was right up against me all night. Now I'm leaning toward the 96.72 since it falls right on that dip. What do you think?

Hi guys! Even though I'm hardly on here, I'm stalking your posts! I have high hopes for all of you and mzswiss...I really hope this is your baby! My fingers, toes and even my eyes are crossed for you lol. I'm gonna use all my hoping and maybe you'll all be pregnant by the end of the year, sooner the better

Stacey the girls are gorgeous, heart breakers I tell you!!! I love girls, they are so much more fun and easier.
L.E. maybe that's what it is...the lack of interest in school. tyler is intelligent but sheesh, he seems to not care much about academics. Bradyn is smart and only time will tell if he has an interest in school or not. My daughter just seems to be the one after a car for graduation and a full academic scholarship. I wish my son shared the same drive that she has. I am having quite a day with the oldest today. Disappointed in him and disgusted really. my 5 year old found dirty pictures on my oldest's Nintendo DS and I found pictures on his phone. I don't believe in boys will be boys and they are curious. We just don't do porno in this house. I told him if you want to see a naked woman, you need to get married! In the eyes of God it's wrong and we won't have it! DH is very upset, so the phone is gone..going to be turned off. Computer gone. He doesn't have inernet, none of my children do. He went to my mother's and viewed and saved this on his phone and DS on my mom's birthday 5-8-12
Ladies I am in Awe, disgusted, and part of me believes he needs a good trip over the knee. I may need a personal vacation...I need to take a trip and rest my poor weary mind and soul.

we are letting her go till 5th then jr high and high school she will be home schooled there is a group here where the home schooled kids go on trips and have dances and weekly meeting so that they can make friends

Stacey, I believe there are Home School groups around here and I know the YMCA has special classes for home schoolers. I think we're going to try to at least get him in a class or 2 this fall for extra-curricular stuff.
Fngrs, Wow I'm glad I'm not going through the teenage years with a LO yet! I hope our DS is as "good" as DH and I were. We really were good kids and didn't get into any trouble. We were by no means perfect, but as far as teens go we were good. Hopefully your DS shows some remorse and has learned his lesson. I think porn is one of those things that gets burned into your brain, so it's good that you nipped it early. We are definitely believers in the "no sex til marriage" idea which is one reason we were engaged an married pretty quickly lol. We started dating in Oct of 2001, engaged in March of 2002, and Married in Aug of 2002. Anyway, I hope you get it all straightened out with DS. I know it breaks a momma's heart to see her kids do something expressly against her wishes.
I hope that didn't sound wrong. I'm not saying your DS isn't good... I'm saying some teens are so bad and I hope our DS isn't, or the teen years will be so much harder! Your DS doesn't sounds like a bad kid at all. A mistake here and there makes us human, not bad. Wrong choice after wrong choice is a different matter. There are so many pressures out there for kids. Plus with the internet everywhere it makes everything so accessible and easy to make the wrong choice.

I love it she just feels left out when my niece leaves for school but she gets up and dresses and we start her work at the same time jelly (niece) does so i told her she can try school this coming up school year jelly was already in school when she came to live with us so i didnt want to pull her out

Yeah I'm still here guys, and thank you I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, I'm taking small milestones, and I'm harassing the doctor to keep an eye on me, I have a midwife in 2 weeks, they are gonna use a doppler to see if baby's heart beat is ok. Still can't believe how early I ovulated! And fngers my son is ten and he's been obsessed with boobies, I tell him the same thing, he'll have to wait til he's married! Anyway guys its 07.36am here, gotta get my kiddies in gear for school. I wanna see some BFPS from you guys soon Speak soon xx

L.E. I knew you didn't mean that he was bad. He has been an impressionable child. He has a strange and annoying respect for my younger brother that bothers me to my core. My younger brother isn't a role model at all. You'd think I'm a single parent and his father wasn't actively involved in his life, with how he admires my non-gainfully employed, video gaming, dead-beat dad younger brother! It sickens me, because my children don't come from a broken family and instead of looking at your own dad as a rile model you look at he worst possible man to be it! ugh! He got those pictures from my brothers computer and in his room. DH said that he wouldn't be surprised if he has our oldest watching it. Or allowing him to view it. I would hate to think that my brother would do that, but with him anything is possible. He isn't mature and he isn't a fit parent. He has a daughter that he does nothing for. Barelt spends any time with her and supplies none of her needs. Her mother does all of it. SAD.
I found out yesterday that one of my oldest sons friends was recently grounded for the same thing. So I am assuming that they talk about things like naked women. He doesn't go over there to visit, thank god, so he at least can't embarrass me at his friends houses. Everything is evolving from the time when we were kids, HIV/AIDS is more prevalent. And just being curious, leads to having sex before you are suppose to, and can lead to STD's or teen pregnancy. One of my closest friends warned me of this. She has 2 son's (both teens), I didn't expect this from my son, given we are strict and we do believe in grounding a kid. I just set high standards for my children and I expect them to meet those expectations. I guess I will get over it, but I am still disgusted by it all and angry. Feeling like my 5 year old is tainted, and hoping he will forget what he saw. Can you imagine if he goes around telling people about the porn he saw? Legal issues is what comes to mind...

I would be harassing the Dr too zombie! And if they can't understand and oblige you by doing so then something is wrong with them. They should be willing to do whatever it takes to ease your mind and keep you stress free. The midwife should be able to hear the HB by then. It's going to be the sound of angels singing. Keep us posted, we are without a doubt excited to hear the details.

I see stupid FF gave you the dashed lines instead of a solid >:/ . So far so good though! Glad you danced so if it changes it again and put ovulation at the 3dpo point you will be covered. CL seems high to me, but it's correct for your temps. Guess I am so used to my CL with my low temps and all. My temps have been impressively low this cycle. 97 and lower...yay me! Maybe we will all get our bfp's!! I have been taking the EPO again and flaxseed oil. Still going to use the softcups too. I used them during AF..I like them so much better than pads or tampons. Fngrs-I totally understand where you are coming from. Nowadays, kids look up to the wrong people as role models which would explain why the future generations make nothing of themselves. Also nowadays girls think its cute to have sex when they are curious and trust when i say i have seen MANY girls in MIDDLE SCHOOL walking around with baby bumps Its just plain wrong. I guess teen pregnancy is the new fad Hopefully your 5 yr old does forget it because that was not a good thing.

AFM, today i am officially 3dpo. I got my dashed crosshairs today
FF is probably confused because of the opk but as long as i still got my crosshairs, i am fine 
Yesterday was a good day. I cleaned up and I gave both my dogs baths. After that, dh came home early and we cuddled up together and then he decided to let me nap undisturbed so he went on the computer while i took a nap on the couch. But i woke up a few hours later to my husband sounding super happy and talking on the phone. After he was done, he told me that was our recruiter and we have an appt tomorrow to complete the financial part and we are scheduled to take our physical next wednesday So things are moving along now. They said the physical is an all day event and they are sending us to a hotel to stay overnight on tuesday so we can be there bright and early that following day. So good news all around I suppose. One, i have ovulated and am now in the tww and two the Navy process is finally coming through. Also he told us that after we pick our jobs after the physical, depending on the availability, it can take 2-6 months before we go into boot camp etc so we shall see how long ours will take. Now, FF has my new AF due date as either June 8th or 9th. And seeing that it says i have a LP of 11 days, that means I have 8 more days before I know whats going on So thats not long. I might start testing at 8dpo though 
I've talked to my boss and she is letting me make up the hours im going to miss while doing the Navy process so today i was suppose to go in from 3:45-8:15. But now im going in 12pm-8pm and then tomorrow i was suppose to work from 10:45-6:15 but seeing that I got the appt at 1pm tomorrow, I will be working from 10am-12pm and then I have wednesday off so everything is turning out good. Oh and dh and I dtd this morning...i think it was from the excitement of the Navy process But now everything is all a waiting game
