positive ovulation test after hcg shot

Hi yesterday at 11am i had a hcg shot to help me with ovulation.not long ago at 12 did a clear blue ovulation test and i got a smiley face.could this be a false positive.did i test to early.

Hi there no that would be about right as you ov roughly between 24-36hrs after a trigger shot - hope this helps get busy!!

just realised you posted this yesterday so would have only been an hour after?? i'd still say it was positive and get busy you may have a few days of pos in a row....

hi thanks i tested this morning and still positive and last night i kept getting mild cramping.fingered crossed that it has worked

The trigger is Hcg which will turn an ovulation test positive. You can't trust OPKs after a trigger, just rest assured you'll ovulate in the next day or so.
