Positive Urine test, negative blood test??

Has anyone ever had this happen?? I have 8 faint positives (yes I know I’m a poas-a-Holic) and now this prominent positive. This was taken out of the time frame but it just kept getting darker! But I went to the doctor for a quantitative blood test 3 days ago and it came back negative! I also have been nauseous for at least 1 1/2 weeks, bloated, crampy, etc. Is it possible I’m still pregnant? Or are these urine tests wrong?

Was your blood test qualitative or quantitative? Basically, did they say pos/neg or give you a number? The threshold for most qualitative blood tests is actually significantly higher than most home pregnancy tests. I have Kaiser, and they don’t even require a positive in clinic test anymore because the hpts are far more sensitive than what they have in clinic. If you’re lines keep progressing (darkening every other day), I wouldn’t worry. But you can always explain to your doctor what’s going on and she’s if they’ll do serial betas (measuring your specific hcg levels 2-3 days apart) or what they want to do moving forward.
