post ovulation test result confusion?

Hello,

So I gave pcos and being treated with metformin. This month I ovulated on day 20 and my doctor requested a day 23 blood test for progesterone. I did query with nurse if this was too early for me but she said should be ok and it was the only day I could do.

My result is 18.4 the doctor receptionist said it showed as too low for post ovulation. But didn't speak to my doc.

Is 18.4 not still ok for 3 days post ov anyway?
Not had this test before!
