pre-seed babies - boy or girl?

This is an interesting thread. I am using preseed as well and actually have been for months as our usual lube. I agree that a little goes a long way. I usually only go with 0.5-1gm. It'll be neat to follow this thread and see how many of each sex everyone has. I'm really hoping for a BFP soon and hope all you ladies get your BFPs soon, too!! :)

Currently on my tww after using Pre-Seed. This will be my Rainbow baby, so DH and I don't mind what the gender is, just as long as we get pregnant and its healthy.

wel, good luck to all of you still ttc!! trust me, it happens the month you least expect it!! i used to think ppl just say that but i'm living proof!! and even though i'm not entirely sure the preseed did the trick, i had no cm at all the month i conceived! so its surely worth a shot!

keep the faith!! xx

I got my BFP the first month we used preseed...and it's twins! Still don't know the genders, but I can definitely recommend preseed. DH couldn't tell it from the real thing. I only used 1gm, otherwise it was a bit too wet.

DH and I are using Pre-Seed as well! I've been off BCP for 4 months now, and this will we our first real month trying after waiting for the recommended 3 months (although we tried those 3 too just in case we got lucky!)

DH and I would love to have a boy first, but we're really hoping for twins! Dragonfly: that's so exciting!! Twins run in my family, and it's my generation's turn, so we have a pretty good chance.

Good luck to everyone!! Hopefully Pre-Seed gets us all our sticky beans!!

Heard it favors boys too. We're having a boy. But we also had basically all the other factors that are correlated with having a boy (more boys than girls in both families, relatively young, married, not underweight, etc) so it was probably more likely even without the preseed.

Where did you see that being young, married and not underweight is correlated with having boys? I'd like to read that!

I wonder if the SMEP plan favours girls too, as they say girls are more likely conceived if you BD before the egg is released, and boys after...

I read it initially in a book called Do Chocolate Lovers Have Sweeter Babies? but let me see if I can find some references...

Not underweight: https://humrep.oxfordjournals.org/content/19/2/442.full ; https://rspb.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/275/1643/1661.full

The theory behind all of these is that boys are more delicate so they're more likely to be born to mothers who can provide the best chances of survival.

So DO chocolate lovers have sweeter babies? Because a day in which I do not consume a piece of chocolate is a bad day for everyone I talk to ;)

 Believe it or not, YES! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14757265
It also lowers pre-eclampsia risk. Best pregnancy findings EVER!

That is 100% win right there! Excuse me while I go purchase more chocolate...

Thank you! That is awesome. How fascinating. I'm a total science junkie - going to take a look at these now!

After trying for 8months i tried preseed. Used 1gm each time we dtd. That month i fell pregnant with a son. Unfortunately we lost him in may. Currently trying for our rainbow baby. I always wanted a daughter but babies are a gift so ill be happy with either.

Congrats on your twins!!! How exciting!! They run on my husbands n my fam also but sure i wouldnt be so lucky to have them myself. Wishing you a happy n healthy pregnancy.

Babydust to all! :)

So, since I don't like chocolate, does that mean my babies won't be very sweet? lol.
