Preference?

My LO seems to prefer my right breast over the left one... and because of this, at nights, or when he's un-happy and won't settle with my using the left one, i give in and give him the right one, and now i've noticed that theres so much more milk in that one! the other feels empty alot of the time
is it possible one has more of a supply than the other?

Bethan has a favourite boob too, and I've noticed something similar. I think it might be a Catch 22 case; your LO has a favourite, and therefore feeds more on that one, which in turn makes more milk, which means it's a favourite.

If it's not causing you any problems, I'd just stick with the favourite! I havn't bothered doing the 'Feed on one side, then feed on the other' since she was a couple of months old, anyway, and we've had no problems.

so do you just only use the one side? i dont want to reduce supply or anything..or would the one boob just make enough for me to just use that side lol?

hi there my little princess favors the left breast and the left breast produces more milk but i hand suppress or pump on the other side at least once a day just to keep it on back up
