Anyone have it and would you recommend it?

I'm looking for something not too big as my bed is only double and don't want to take up the whole bed with it lol

With my first I just used couple of pillows for under knees and bump. This time I'm thinking of a body pillow and Argos do them so cheap at £13 compared to mothercares £30/£40!

I was just wondering this too! I have been having pain in my hips and was wondering if a pillow may help. They seem so bulky!

Pillow does the job just as well. I have slipped discs so I know the body pillow will be useful to me even after pregnancy.

Try placing pillow under your hips or between your knees- works a treat and helps with a good nights sleep.

You can use pillow later on as a babyseat type thing! Not sure how bendable they are. Just using pillows myself.

I have that one and it's great! It's so long it supports the whole body and I can rest my book on it in bed too as I find it difficult to read properly having to lay on my side!!

I was given a more expensive one when I had my son and I found it really difficult to use as it went both sides of me when I laid down so I had to move the whole thing when I turned over which got too annoying. :)

I have the Snoogle mini compact side sleeper. It's about half the size of the full size one. I'm only 4'9" though so it might work better for me than average height people. I also use a simple belly wedge to keep myself from rolling onto my stomach at night.

I bought one, but find it annoying having to flip it when I need to roll over so have just been using a pillow so far - which I've actually been finding more comfortable! I guess this could change later on (and I kind of hope so, it wasn't cheap enough to not get used!)

What exactly does a pregnancy pillow do?

Prevents pregnancy happening again since your significant other can't get anywhere near you! :)

They're just made to fit around your body better and make sleep more comfortable, but most of them are absolutely huge! They take up half the bed.

Lol! I have seen very long things in advertisments and always wondered...
Can't say I slept uncomfortable last pregnancy but who knows what this third trimester brings :) Will keep them in mind.

I don't have one, but I do sleep with a pillow slightly underneath my belly and a pillow between my legs too. It works pretty great and comfy so far. And since it's two separate pillows, I can adjust them very easily to fit my comfort needs. I looked into a pregnancy pillow, but then I thought to myself, what's the point if these pillows are doing it for me already? I think it'll depend on what makes you comfiest at night and helps you sleep :)

I had a snoogle when I was pregnant with daughter. It was awful! So huge and not nearly as comfy as a regular body pillow. I'd really not bother with anything labeled as a pregnancy pillow and just go with a regular body pillow.
