problems with ears after baby

has any one had problems with there ears since having lo? i constantly feel a little woozy (not dizzy) just of blance and get hot flushes ive had two courses of antibiotic and its still not cleared up i also suffer with my sinus to just wonder if it affected anyone else

i felt like this about 6 weeks after baby was born and felt very 'drunk' for ages, and even now, 16 months on dont feel 100%. I thought it was just exhaustion and stress and it might have been that but after several tests/scans i was told that id picked up a virus that had affected my ears and that it was vertigo. if it continues go back to your GP and get them to run a few tests xx

thanks hun ive got a appiontment to go back on monday i have had two bad infections which could have affected my inner ear it was soi swollen last time she could see inside so hopefull mondY she ll send me for more tests
did you jave any treatment? what kind of tests did they do? x

they did blood tests and I had an MRI scan on my brain and that was all clear. when i first went to the doc they game me tablets but they didnt do anything. it was only later when i went to see a specialist and had a scan that they gave me some exercises to do to 're-train' the brain and i think they helped massively. you can look them up on the internet they are caled cawthorne cooksey excercises. you have to keep doing them strictly everyday for quite some time, but i think they really helped me xx

thanks ive been back to the doctor today saw a diffrent doctor who knew excatly what the problem was the tube from my ear to throat is inflammed and blocked causeing the saw throat ear infections and whoozy ness he said the treatment will take 8 weeks and it will be gone all my symptoms fit this so fingers crossed it works xx
