Progesterone/ tick uterus lining HELP!

Hello everyone,
can you give me your input please.... any opinion welcome.

In July 2013 I had a procedure done, it was to take a sample of my uterus wall. simple biopsy. The reason why I had it done was, that I have heavy and painful periods...

Everything came back perfectly okay. no polyps, no growth of anything...

Dr also did ultrasound of my uterus and she said it looks great, but maybe it is a little tick when it comes to uterus wall.
So she gave me progesterone to take for 10 days to shed some of the walls.... I didn't take it yet, considering all the side effects.

Should I take it? do you think it can be preventing me from getting pregnant?

I have regular 28/29 days cycles, ovulating every month.

If the doctor told you to take it, I would take it. She wouldn't have prescribed it if she was worried about symptoms.
