hey girls, just a quick question, not sure if its normal or not, if i move to quickly or sneeze or cough i get like a pulling feeling in my right hand side of my abdomen, not sure if its normal, it doesn't hurt or anything just weird xxx

It's normal hunni don't worry it's just everything stretching and moving for buba. x

awww thanks hun, i didnt think it was anything to worry about but im a nervous wreck about every little twitch and pain haha x

Normal! Welcome to pregnancy! LOL You will feel a lot more soon! Congrats!

lol thanks darl.....oh the joys im looking forward to seeing what this little adventure has in store haha xx

I actually get sharp pains in the left side of my abdomen when I sneeze, and I tried googling it today- I found that pains or pulling feelings when sneezing are incredibly common during pregnancy.

The worst for me is sneezing when lying on my back- I am going to have to remember not to do that from now on, it was really painful! Apparently completely normal though

aw wow and here is me moaning about a little pulling sensation, im glad i havent had sharp pains i would have been stressing out like mad lol... Glad to hear that its common though, leat we can stop worrying....well until the next thing happens and we want to know it its normal lol xxx

I definitely get this from time to time. It was a lot more prevalent when I was in my fifth and sixth weeks and has settled down a bit since. Only to be replaced by extremely sensitive nipples and "morning" sickness that wakes me up in the middle of the night. :haha:

I get them when I do big sneezes haha. Or if I move quickly. I'm sure it's just everything stretching and being more squidgy and soft hahaha.

I get it when I cough! just a tugging/pulling feeling on my muscles. It does feel wierd, but completely normal.

I didn't even bring it up but my OB mentioned that it's common to have a pulling/pain on the right side. I asked what about the left, as that's what I get once in a while if I sit a certain way, I get a sharp pain down my left side whenever I inhale deeper. She said "ok, it can be on the left for you." :) So either side it's common, but more so on the right.

could be round ligament pains.

i get it sometimes when i sneeze or cough..

So glad you posted this! I've had identical pains, so glad it's normal!

awwww brilliant, thanks for all the info and support girlies :) xxxxx

Glad to hear this!, lol I've been getting it if I blow my nose really hard or sneeze and was worried I was straining or pulling something I shouldn't be... glad to know its normal!!

I actually had this this morning while getting sick. Got a sharp pulling pang on my right side. I think it's because I got up too quickly to run to the bathroom to get sick.

I get this too, i find it helps.... if i can catch it in time, to hold my lower stomach when i sneeze. After my son was born i had a week bladder, it helps for that too lol xxx

yeah its completely normal, i get it from time to time when i sneeze / caugh or move to quickly(turning in bed) i also find it helps if you hold your lower tummy :) x x
