Hi there,

I am planning to FF LO aptimil. I have bought the ready made cartons for the first couple of days, just because I'll be tired and it's easier.

I was just wondering though, obviously a newborn will only drink about 1/2 a carton in one feed, is the other 1/2 of the carton safe to keep in a sterilised bottle for the next feed? Or do you have to throw it away?

Thanks in advance

What I do: (have used cartons from birth)

Sterilise and make up 3 bottles at a time, pour milk into them, put in fridge and warm up when needed.

You can also leave cartons in fridge for up to 24hrs, I put a clip it over the 'spout' to close it.

yer aslong as they are kept in the fridge they are ok for 24 hours

I just kept it in carton in fridge and used it within 24 hrs
