Questions for those who have more than one child

# 1 born at 38+5 spontaneous natural labour, a girl weighing 6lb 2oz

#2 born at 37+2 again a spontaneous natural labour, again a girl weighing, 7lb

I have just over 2 years between them

DS1 - 40+8 waters went had to be induced because of meconium! 7hr labour! 8lb 2oz

DS2 - 40+1 waters went, Natural labour (although 3x longer) 23hrs!!! 8lb 5oz

3year age gap x

I have a 25 month age gap.

DS1 was born naturally with spontaneous labor(20 hours long) at 38+5. He was 8lb1oz and 21 inches.
DS2 was born naturally with spontaneous labor(3 and a half hours of true labor with about 6 hours of nonproductive Braxton hicks before labor started) at 38+2. He was 7lb7oz and 21.5 inches.

Both were happy and healthy

Congratulations on having baby #2 ;-)
Mine have got an 18 month age gap.

My first was born 40+0 boy weighing 7lb 9oz after my waters broke. Had water birth with him.
My second was born 41+0 girl weighing 10lb 4oz after my waters broke. Wanted water birth again but had meconum in waters so had to have her on dry land.
Just had gas and air with both xxx

My DS was born at 40+1 after my sweep 24 hours beforehand. Active labour was about 12 hours I think but contractions started 24 hours beforehand. I had to have the drip to speed things up, then an epidural and then forceps.

My DD was 11 days overdue and I got indices with the pessary but that sped things up too quickly. They stopped that broke my waters the next morning and was in active labour for 5 hours and had her with gas and air 😊.

Oh and an episiotomy with both but no lasting damage thank goodness 😆

My first was a boy. He was born at 36+1 spontaneous labor. Labor was 17 hours from very beginning to birth. Started with water breaking. 3 hours pushing (hands over face). Wonderful home water birth. 6lbs even 20"

My second was a girl. She was born at 38+1. 8lbs even and 20" my water broke at 37+5 and then nothing..... Labor never started!!! 38 weeks the midwife inserted cervadil and nothing. The next day at 38+1 started lowest dose pitocin. And baby arrived about 2.5-3 hours after that! 20 minutes pushing.
I thought it was so strange that my body didn't start labor for my second. Don't know why. I did have sex though the day before and three days before waters broke. I think next time I wont when labor is near and just let my body do its thing.

Oh, and there is almost 2 years 3 months between them.

I had DD 4 days after my due date and it was a 56 hour labour. 6 lbs 2 oz
I had DS 2 days after my due date and it was a 2.5 hour labour. 8 lbs 1 oz

Both were spontaneous home water births, both were the most amazing days of my life! They are 26 months apart and DD was at my son's birth. She did AMAZINGLY well! It's something I highly recommend, because the two of them love each other and get along so well. No jealousy!

My first was born at 40+3, natural delivery and was a boy weighing 7lbs 14oz.

My second I PPROM'd at 33+5 and she was born at 34 weeks, they had to speed up things due to her getting distressed. She was born at 34 weeks weighing 4lbs 12oz

There is 4 & a half years between them (well a day shy!) x

I was wondering what gestations your baby were born at and whether it was natural or induced/ section etc. dd was my first & was born at 40+1 and I've just had ds at 41 exactly

And whether the gender made a difference girl/boy my boy took longer to bake by six days (felt like an eternity at the time lol!)

And what the weight of your babies were? dd was 8lbs exactly, ds 8lbs 8oz

And the age gap between them 4 years & 5 months

My first was a boy, I went into labour on my due date, was induced with a pessary on my due date and gave birth at 40+1, he was 8lb 3oz.

Just under 19 months later I had a girl, spontaneous labour at 39+3 (evening), born at 39+4 (early hours) and she weighed 7lb 1oz.

20mths age gap and I had DD1 at 39+5 naturally weighing 6lb 15oz

Then a 7yr age gap

Dd2 born at 39+4 naturally weighing 7lb 5oz x
