Hi folks. Just wondered if anyone was being prescribed GCSF? Has anyone got a success story?

I belive it's known as neupogen or filgrastim if that helps?

I think Sunny74 was prescribed this by Gorgy, no success story from it though

She just came back from doing Ivf in Athens and don't think she took it this time round

I can go ask her though

Fertility friend is possibly a better place to look for the answer, agate has a frequent q&a thread and it will be covered there eithout a doubt

Thanks hope. I'm ok. Was my birthday yesterday and DH is taking me away for the weekend so something to look forward to which is nice. Spent all day at a spa yesterday which was lush. See? There are definite perks to not being pregnant (at least that is my mantra!)

Of course I miscarried again. I'm a professional miscarrier. Made it to 6 weeks this time.

Consultant prescribed neupogen so who knows. I'll try anything once. Nice to not have to take the roids though!

I'm back. Don't want to be but I'm no longer threatening to miscarry, I am miscarrying. Pretty sure it'll all be over by morning. Unfortunately...

#10 sucks just as much as the rest but maybe the fact that it was pregnancy #13 jinxed it a bit? (Pardon my morbid humor. I need to laugh even if it's sarcastically...)

The worst part is despite the cramping that's amped up in the last hour (though it's still not super bad), the constant achey back, and the long stringy blood clot I just saw in the toilet, I'm having trouble convincing myself to NOT take my progesterone tonight on the off chance this is just a scare. I think I want to hold out until I know what my numbers are for sure and I won't know until morning. So I'll prob take it. If I am miscarrying, there's nothing gonna stop it anyway so one extra pill won't hurt anything.

I had a miscarriage in 2004 and was devastated. my body would not release my baby and they did a dnc after telling me to wait for 5 weeks to see wht happens. it was awful! There was no bleeding, no cramps, nothing. Just a positive test a heartbeat at6 and 8 weeks and then none at 12 weeks. 3 days after the dnc i had horrific bleeding clotting and cramping.

Two years later i gave birth to a beautiul healthy little boy who is now 8 1/2. He is my world and I am so happy!

In my current relatinship I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. There was spotting and the u/s showed a clot behind the gestational sac. 3 days later after an internal u/s and there was cramps and bleeding and I passed my baby in his sac.

This past November I was pregnant again. Everything seemed to be going great! There was a heartbeat and even an ultrasound that showed a little baby at around 13 weeks.

We have a long distance relationship and I went to see him. We cheduled to have a ultrasound to determine sex at 19 weeks. I was growing in my belly and showed all the normal signs of pregnancy of 19 weeks. On the 14th my back was hurting really bad. We went in to have the ultrasound on the 16th and showed no gestational sac at all!

I have had no bleeding, no cramping, nothing! what is going on?

laynesmomma- I am so sorry to hear about your losses. Was the baby measuring small at 13 weeks? I'm guessing what happened (and this is just a guess. I'm no doctor.) is the baby died shortly after that u/s and your body just absorbed everything. But I'd see your doctor and discuss this with him/her. I'd also recommend some testing done as this is your 3rd m/c so things should be looked into.

they did it to find heart beat since it was not detected on Doppler in office. heard heartbeat, said everything was fine and 6 weeks later not even a gestational sac but my body kept growing. no other signs of miscarriage

That's def strange. I think your best bet is to meet with your doctor and discuss where to go from here. I'd imagine they'll want to track your hCG levels for a bit to make sure your hormones drop properly after this and maybe do another scan to make sure there's nothing left in there but these are just educated guesses. I'm sorry you are in limbo and I wish I had the answers for you. I've been in limbo far too much myself and it's not a fun place to be.

Seems like I all I've done since I found out about this bfp is wait... It's frustrating because I honestly don't know what to think about this situation. I've passed one clot the size of a dime every night for the last 4 nights and I've had about an hour of aching right around that time. However, the next morning there's absolutely NOTHING. No funky discharge, no bleeding, no cramping. I'm in limbo. And my dr refused me a scan on Friday even though I told him I have a fear of either a molar or an ectopic because my hCG wasn't checked recently so he didn't know if it was over 6,000. And in his opinion, it needs to be over 6,000 to see anything. No. I saw LO's hb at 6+1 with an hCG of less than 3,000. I seriously wanted to smack him. But he did order labs (which frustratingly haven't come in yet even though I had them done Friday AM and usually I can access the results 24 hours later) so at least he did that. So I have spent this weekend having a panic attack so bad I needed a nearly hour long phone session with my therapist to calm me down, been completely 100% convinced it's over every single night thanks to these clots, and I have absolutely NO clue if I'm miscarrying or not or if there's something seriously wrong going on here. AND I don't see the dr til Thursday because they wouldn't schedule my u/s earlier than the only day I could see him next week. Argh.

Sorry for the essay but I've been just a wee bit frustrated and upset this weekend...

Update-hCG (finally!) came in and my levels on Friday were 13000! I checked doubling time and it's still 62 hours. Progesterone went up two points in that same time too and no clots last night so I dunno what to think. Light tan discharge today and feeling really nauseated and tender bbs so all good signs but I've had good signs before and still lost my baby so I'm not going to be convinced I'm NOT m/c unless Thursday's scan shows otherwise. So until then, I'm going into denial about this pg and only remembering it when I need to take my meds. Otherwise, I may just be by Thursday...

I had a scan today and nothing was found in my womb..I should have been 5w6d. They have taken blood and will do again on Wednesday to rule out ectopic.

I have an appointment tomorrow with the recurrent miscarriage clinic and I am wondering what tests I should be requesting?

Kira you have to have been post mc for 6w hun for some of the tests. Your hormones need to have settled or you can get false results

Once your 6wk is up you be wanting aps, lupus anticoagulant, Leiden factor v

They can probably do a thyroid function test Tomoz
