red eye

My daughter has a red sore looking eye. It doesnt seem to be causing her any pain, but it is quite watery and sticky. I have been cleaning it with cool boiled water, but i think i need to take her the doctors as i think it may be a blocked tear duct.
Anyone had any experience with this?

yes summer has a blocked tear duct and we have just got back from the doctors and he said yo massage around the eye and if it is still blocked at 12 months they refer them to an eye specialist to get it unblocked. but he said if it gets any worse he will refer me sooner!

Thanks hun, where do you massage just in the corner by the nose or all around the eye?

You have to massage around the corner of her nose , i did this with max too
