Red line on butt crack = dilation?

Oh god, they don't do that? I just got put on iron tablets this week... Haemorrhoids is piles right? I've never had that but I don't want it lol

Hee hee, my piles are quite bad, but in fairness they were pretty bad before I started the iron tablets. I've actually named mine. Sometimes I don't seem them in days, other times they pop out to say hello all day.

Joking aside, iron tablets can make you constipated, but piles aren't that common.

Oh thank god for that! I LOVE that you named them, I name weird things too, I get this weird lump at the top of my bum every few weeks, we named it Roger

I was constipated with my last baby, I didn't poo for like 2 weeks at a time lol, but it never caused me any pain (I was so sick there was probably no build up of food etc), so I barely noticed, hopefully the iron tablets will not cause any pain with it.

haha i just started out cracking up out loud from reading this thread and my dh asked what was soo funny. You should have seen his face when i told him he will be doing me a favor when i go to take a shower tonight haha. Im very curiouse about this although still not sure where i should be looking. I guess i will have to look around for any colored lines lol

ugh if I wasn't too lazy atm I'd go check, though at 34 weeks I doubt I'm dilated much, if at all. Maybe I will just down a whole lot of water so that I will need to wee. And yes, I have heard of this in a few midwife articles before! A number of seasoned midwives will use this technique during labor to keep cervical checks down to a minimum. I'm pretty sure my clinic does this too, sounds like a pretty good deal to me, cervical checks during labor are always so unpleasant.

i just looked haha but i think my line could have been from my underwear? I will have to look again in the morning when ive been all night with underwear (yes i still where thongs) lol
