I gave him 5mls of cooled boiled water yesterday to try and move things on and im only putting gaviscon in his bottles at night now to try and relieve the constipation untill i can get the new milk powder!
He loved the water and did have a couple of small poos after so i going to do the same today when he gets unsettled!

my lad had it bad wen he was born...he onli weighed 6lb 1, and his weight decreased rapidly n we wer hospitalised many times..they gave us gaviscion that did help occassionally but he was bad..es 18months now n still cn get bouts of it...but docs sed it can last till ther 4... but regular winding and sitting them up after feeds helped x

My ds had it very bad and at one point was on gaviscon, ranitidine, domperidone and liquid omeprazole and on these until he was 2 years it does get better but can take a long time as was such hard work hope your lo ok x x
