Refused induction - am I being selfish?

I would take the midwives advice. I mean a water birth would be nice but they know what they r talking about.

I understand what your feeling, I went 2 weeks overdue before and refused induction, actually went into labour the day they wanted to induce me. Medical intervention really scares me too. Trust your body, keep in mind the movements obv and if they reduce again go and see, dont let them bully you though, because they just follow protocol's and procedures and arent really thinking about you individually. I understand your needs to have a natural birth this time, your instincts will tell you if something is wrong, again you can go up to 2 weeks overdue safely, and babies do move less as you come up for labour because they engage and there's much less room for them to move anyway. Usaully the couple of days leading up to labour the baby moves less so you might not have much longer to wait! Good luck achieving you natural waterbirth!
