Ring test

Has anyone done the ring test?

I used to think that if the ring swings back and forth it is a boy and if it swings in a circle it is a girl.

However most Myth sites say the opposite, they say back and forth is a gril and circle is a boy..

Alot of forum sites think the opposite and circle is girl and back and forth boy..

Confused

What way do you guys think it goes?

If the ring goes in circles, you're expecting a baby boy. If the ring goes side to side you are expecting a girl according to this old wives tale.

I never used the ring, always a needle.

For me, its always been back and forth for a boy and circles for a girl.

IMHO it is whatever you believe because at the end of the day, it is your thoughts that make the needle move... I don't mean that you make it move with your mind.... what i mean is that when you are concentrating on the needle/ring, I think that your body responds (in a way that you can't even see) to what you're thinking about, given you are the one holding the string or chain of course....
My example of this is that if I do it, I can actually think about the ring moving a certain way and it does or if I imagine the ring stopping, then it does..... gee I hope that all made sense!

Another example is that years ago when I was first shown this, I would do it and ALWAYS get a boy first and then a girl..... well, years later I had a baby girl and now I am preg again and if I do it now, it always shows a girl first and then a boy(???).... so to me, it is what you are thinking that comes through as you hold the string/chain and there is no magic to it imho. But yes, it is a lot of fun!
