I'm new to this forum but felt I must post regarding the Sainsbury's HPTs.. (Non-digital).

This month was our first month of TTC and I got SEVEN faint blue positives on the Sainsbury's tests, only to be told by the doctor that my HCG levels were less than 1 which obviously meant I wasn't pregnant..

As AF was almost a week late and we had seen 7 'positives', we told close family and friends. So embarrassed to have to tell them a few days later that we were mistaken.

DO NOT buy Sainsbury's tests, they just cause confusion and lots of heartache.

Maybe you had a chemical or early mc hun. getting 7 pos and a count of 1 could mean there was something but by the time you got bloods the hcg count in your blood already dropped and bleeding started

I think it must have been an early MC or chemical pregnancy, yeah. :/ I had most of the symptoms, even physical ones like my boobs changing. Just over a week on and my hormones seem to be back to normal now, I feel like my usual self. My appetite's back and we're going to try again.

Sorry, those blue dye tests are rubbish, ive yet to take one that HASNT had a hint of a faint line on it..xxx

Same here, not worth the heartache. We're going to stick to digital and/or pink dye from now on.x
