Scan and blocked tubes

Hi guys, I was just wondering if you can tell by having a scan if you have blocked tubes or not? Cause iv been told you can see everything with a scan and would be able to see if i had or not or do you have to have dye?

Ive an appointment on the 8th- thats with the dye as they have to see wether the dye flows through or not, you cannot do it on a scan as far as im aware of otherwise surely they would just do that on everyone?
