Scan and first midwife appointment together?

Hi,

My dr had referred me to my local hosp for my first appoint ( I'm 5 weeks) I rang them today and they said they don't see women til after 9 weeks. Am I likely to have my scan at the same time??

Are you in the UK? If you are you'll probably have your booking appointment and the MW will make the appointment for your 12 week scan, which might be when you're 11 weeks and a few days to 13 weeks and a few days, depending on when they have space.
