I have been to see our catchment school, which is a great school and id love for ds1 to go to. They also have a specialist sen speech and language coordinator who can see up to 10 children in foundation with a statement. This obviously sealed the deal as I knew ofsted rated them on their Sen but with this as well.
Anyway, we have been seen by a speech therapist for about a year on and off. We dont have a statment, do we need one by jan 15th or is starting the process enough.
I was advised to make sure this is on our application, and they will give this to the sen coorpdinator i was just wondering if any ladies here knew.
I have been told i stand a pretty good chance as we also live literally next door!
