Second Time Mommies to Be

I know this is for 2nd timers but I'm a 4th timer . My children are 21 ,17 , 16 and this will be mine and my oh 1st together . I think I was thinking my body may have forgotten about the other pregnancys and that this would be like the 1st time round . I'm so bloated and I'm predicting I will be huge by 12 week . I'm very excited but petrified that I won't make it to 12 weeks . Lots of symptoms allready so all posotive news . Hi ladies xxx

Well my tummy is so bloated today I look like I did at 16 weeks with Coralie It's getting difficult to hide it already

Got my private scan at the weekend though I can't wait, but i'm also super nervous!

Just nausea, thankfully I haven't been sick yet. I feel rough though, really rough all the flippin time and the nausea is hideous. I don't ever feel like eating anything but once I force myself to eat it goes away for a little while

What symptoms are you having? Xx

I have that hungover shakey feeling , bloated , shooting pains up my noo noo and ocasional side . Gagging has just started , tearfull and peeing lol xx

I'm exactly the same!! It's started to ease now, but even though I say that I was still googling about discharge and cramps earlier I'm really hoping my scan puts some of my fears to bed. If I see a HB I know the mc rate reduces greatly so I sooooo want to see that. Everything's a worry atm I'd forgotten how stressful pregnancy is. I won't even lie and say 1st tri lol because I remember now there is ALWAYS something to fret over.

There with u on that Looupy...remember last time hitting the magical 12 weeka thinking right all will get better...nope stil has ms, got massive real quick, then when u start feeling them move it amazing but wheb u havent felt them in half hr you freak out...certainly a whirl wind of emotions. hoping that as i know what to expect this time will be a bit more calmer and having a toddler to chase after should keep me busy.

I'm hoping for the same! I keep telling myself that's normal, stop stressing but it's not working I think until I know there is a bean in there I shall be worried, then once I know I can just fret over whether or not the bean is still safe I can't believe I kidded myself last time round that i'd be more relaxed once I could feel the baby

Il be happy once past 8 weeks as i had mc at 7 weeks before a very long time ago but still worys me . Then il wory till the scan , then it will be 24 weeks when i know babys viable then it will be the birth lol xx

Wow i've never known anyone to tell you so early. Will you hold out to the 20 week scan to buy stuff, just incase

I found out at 13 weeks with my DS. The doc was like, "Woah this one is obvious!"

I'm in South Africa where we are blessed to have a scan every month and then from 30 weeks you go every 2 weeks and in the last month you go every week. It's such a treat to see your little one dancing on TV every month!

Hiya ladies this is a brilliant tread if this pregnancy goes as somthly as ds then I should have 2 under 1 ds is 3 months and waiting for a dating scan to give us a due date as fell pregnant be my first af after ds so very fertile and was very ready but only leads with un anwnserd question is it normL for second time mumies to feel flutters in first tri as I swear the other dau I felt flutters bur didnt say anything just incase but im more nervers as twins run in both side of the family and I feel asif im getting very str po ng double the symtoms then what I did with ds so everything will tell on tge 11 xx

Hi I'm in same position as you though my daughter will be 15 months when baby is born. I too feel flutters in my tummy. Can it possibly be the baby? I'm convinced it twins as my symptoms are twice as bad this time round!!

I think it's normal to feel what feels like flutters after having a baby so maybe that's what your feeling?

Baby doesn't start moving independently till 9 weeks and its still so so tiny I would have thought its too small to feel.

My sister had two under one - you're a very brave lady

How is everyone doing today?

I've been feeling horrid for the past 3 weeks. Such bad nausea and just feel so useless. I have turned into a moaning annoying person and I am usually so bloomin positive and easy going about things. I just can't seem to deal with my darling DS -I stare at him from the couch with a baffled look on my face all day!

Luckily we are staying with my parents as my DH is looking for a job cause we relocated cities last year November. It's tough not knowing where we will be when the baby arrives but having the support of my mom to run around after DS all day is amazing.

I literally powered through my first pregnancy so am finding this very unsettling. I just need to suck it up and be there for my DH and DS!!!

I'm struggling, the nausea comes and goes but at the moment it's here with a vengeance. It comes with a really horrible taste in my mouth that doesn't ever go no matter how many times I brush my teeth Horrible.

Still I had my private scan at the weekend and saw a lovely flashing HB and my little bean has arm and leg buds The put me forward 4 days so i've jumped straight into 8 weeks. Not going to argue at that

Hi all, second time mommy to be here too. We announced last week after a healthy scan but I'm a bit disappointed how few people actually congratulated us most just kinda ignored the whole thing, really annoyed me actually. Also had lots of stupid comments on how old Emma will be when baby comes (18 months) tbh wish in some ways we hadn't told people.
On a happier note Emma said baba after I was talking about the baby today, probably a coincidence but I'm pleased lol. Just trying to stop her bouncing all over my tummy now as she's almost been covered in sick a few times!! Xx

CazM...oh im so struggling with trying to keep Parker of my tummy...he so into climbing and just constantly clambering over me.

i still got hypermesis, but finding ways to deal, back to work on wed after 3 wks off...not looking forward to.

also im only just 10 weeks but i swear i feel flutters at times, like when im sitting quietly getting LO to bed i feel stuff going on down there...think im going crazy!
