Second Time Mommies to Be

I'm expecting my second little one after 7 years of raising my little boy.

I feel like I'm a first time mom again- so much has changed since I was preggo the first time.

Anyone else a little nervous to bring home a little one after having an only child for so long? We haven't told DS yet, but assume he'll be less than enthused.

im actualy 14 weeks,and she was 98 % sure she was correct.

I hear in the US you can get a blood test of some sort that tells u the gender? Although know typing that not sure how that wud work unless it was a amnio? Or maybe im just going mad. Hehe.

no i will wait until 16 week,i was told with my son at 16 weeks and confirmed at 20 weeks,so i will just wait until 16 weeks.

I know someone who was told girl at 14 &16 weeks and turned out to be a boy @ 20

I think they have to say that they aren't sure so you can't go back and say, you told me girl blah blah! Was it private?

Yes it was private, the lady seemed so sure but im still like im idk.

Hi Mommymere..... There will be a 4 yr age gap between my eldest and the new one! Even I feel like I'm starting again and I'm pretty nervous! How are you feeling? Nice thing happened today though, I called my midwife for the 1st time and she remembered me from last time

Hi, I'm 8 weeks with my 2nd, edd is 12th Oct and my daughter will be 2yrs 5months when baby arrives. Also worried about how she's going to feel sharing her mummy!

Hiya ladies this is a brilliant tread if this pregnancy goes as somthly as ds then I should have 2 under 1 ds is 3 months and waiting for a dating scan to give us a due date as fell pregnant be my first af after ds so very fertile and was very ready but only leads with un anwnserd question is it normL for second time mumies to feel flutters in first tri as I swear the other dau I felt flutters bur didnt say anything just incase but im more nervers as twins run in both side of the family and I feel asif im getting very str po ng double the symtoms then what I did with ds so everything will tell on tge 11 xx

Hello and congratulations everyone.

My daughter is 17 months and I think I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Tomorrow is my first app.
My first delivery was normal without any complications..... but after my delivery I feel I've stress incontinence (leaking urine when bladder is full)

I didn't get it checked because I was so busy and didn't expect to plan our baby so soon. I don't know weather they can test for urinary incontinence during pregnancy. ...... but I'm thinking to go for c-section this time.

Has anyone or knows anyone who have experienced a similar problem?

Make sure you do your pelvic floor exercises. Think they are the only thing that made a differene to me. My 'control' isn't what it used to be but it's still pretty good
