I know you're gutted you won't get to meet her on the 1st but it won't be long after that (could even be before!) I reackon you would have felt like you missed out if you had a c-section as I have heard a lot of women who have had them wish they'd had the chance to do it all naturally and have that story to tell their lil'un when it's older.
And at least this way you might be in and out over night and fingerscrossed you should be a lot more mobile a lot quicker with a quicker recovery!!
