seeing kicks with anterior placenta?

Update: saw first kick at 24 weeks!

Yah for seeing first kick! I can see mine too, never occurred to me to look before, I would just put my hand to feel!

I can't wait for my DH to see and feel kicks from the outside! I've never had an anterior placenta before this pregnancy and I wasn't feeling much of anything till about 18 and a half weeks. Now I can feel her inside but can't feel her outside. I'm abit overweight too, so that doesn't help. On a side note, I think I need to change my avatar, everytime I look at it I feel like the placenta at top of pic is going to suffocate my baby, lol. It's creepy.

My ultrasound pics look the same way! She has her face buried in the placenta and it drives me nuts! We just started feeling from outside around 20 weeks- well, hubby did, not me. It's hard to differentiate your own heartbeat from baby taps. It's easier if you use the back of your hand though

Awesome! She stopped as soon as I called hubby in, and started again when he gave up watching and left.
