Seeing RE tomorrow!

I am finally seeing an RE.

We have been TTC #2 for 7 months and we finally are seeing a specialist.

I have regular 28 day cycles and I ovulate on CD14.

DH has had surgery for Crohns and has been on meds for 10+ years. He started some new meds about 8 moths ago which causes compromises the immune system. Not sure exactly how.

DD will be 3 in August and was conceived naturally on month 2. We had an angel (10 weeks) 3 months prior to conceiving DD and angel was conceived on month 1!
So I think something must be up since we had an very quick and easy time in the past.

What is the first appointment like? How soon will we know what is going on?

Well the doctor said there may be a problem with DH's swimmers so we are having them tested next week. We can't test if we had sex within 5 days so we will wait until after I ovulate next week, and then wait 5 days.

We will likely not have the results until 7/7 or so since we are waiting till after ovulation.

When are you seeing a doctor?

Rebecca, can I ask who your RE is? I also live in Chicago, and want to make an appointment to see an RE. I have a 2 year old son (conceived on 3rd month trying) and I had a blighted ovum in January (also conceived on 3rd month trying). It's been 6 months since my miscarriage, and nothing. I'm 35 next month, so I thought it was time to see an RE....

Dr Ilan Tur Kaspa. His office is downtown. I waited about 3 weeks for an appointment. I found him very warm and gave us a lot of time. Would highly recommend!
