Sept, Oct & Nov 2011 Mummies and Babies

Oooh such beautiful pictures today ladies! :)

Wow I feel like I have missed so much this past week. Sorry haven't been on ladies, I haven't been home. Been stuck over at MIL's BLAHK.

I am loving all the pictures. Such beautiful babies everyone has. I finally managed to get somewhat of a photo of LO smiling. Posted below.

Hippy I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. It is always horrible to lose a pet you love.

I thought would try again for mission no swaddle last night and surprisingly Leah did really well. She slept with me in bed from 6-9 then had a bottle and went to bed in her bassinet with no issues. And slept almost through the night. Hopefully tonight goes just as well and I think will need to go to store to pick up some sleep sacks for her now.

What is new for everyone else?

OMG Caleb has the most hilarious facial expressions. :) What a character!

Macie is gorgeous, as always. :) I love those cheeks!

ahcigar: Nice work on mission no swaddle. I tried that today for Ella's nap and she kept whacking herself in the face and waking herself up. Looks like a few more weeks of swaddling for us!

Katie she's gorgeous! We have the same leg warmers too :haha:

Love Caleb's faces! He's too cute!

And Macie is such a doll as always, Kerri.

I'll share some from this week. He's 17 weeks old tomorrow!!

I love the leg warmers! We have two pairs and I want more!

I love Wills face. He has the most adorable cheeky smile! I would kiss those cheeks all day.

I do kiss his cheeks all day long lol. He loves it when I make "nom" sound effects - he'll open his mouth wide and make a funny chuckling sound.

I love the leg warmers, but Tim thinks the rainbow is a bit feminine. I just like how they match everything. Maybe I should get some in boy-ish colors... perfect excuse to buy more :haha:

Katie- I have an ella also:):cloud9:

Here's my little guy this week. 15 weeks old!

You can get them from eBay for like $4 from China sellers. I got mine from this person and they are fantastic quality. eBay Leggings

ny, I love Kian's sad face photo! I know I shouldn't, because he's sad... but it's cute! Sorry! :haha:

Okay, some pictures of Silas. He likes to attack toys and try to chew on them. :)

These pictures are the cutest ... October brought some good looking babies!!

Question for BF mums, are your boobs soft now instead of feeling full all the time. does your LO ever latch on and off? Alana does this constantly, I never have sore nipples, can get milk up when I squeeze my boons but she seems hungry and is crying. I get confused as to if she is tired or needs food and my let down is slow and she is frustrated.
Does everyone LO's have a large latch or are some quite shallow.

Questioin for FF moms. about how many wet/poo diapers does your baby have a day. I don't think Cody is having enough :S

hippy: I have noticed that as well. I'm no longer engorged feeling. I think your milk supply stabilizes after 2-3 months so this may be way. Ella does the on and off at night before bed (and its super frustrating!) but during the day she seems to be latching okay. I think I have enough milk, I just think by the end of the day, supplies are lower and let down is slower and that makes her agitated (especially when she is tired and ready for bed).

Ella starts with a shallow latch until the let down and then she latches larger. Its cute to watch.

Jennifer:
Will does the latch on and off thing when he needs to burp. I just stop, put him on me chest to chest and pat his back. Usually get a few good ones out then he's ready to eat again.
He latches swallow except during the let down.
And I second Katie - milk supply stabilizes so you have just the right amount and so you don't feel really full like before.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure things were ok as I was worried that she is not getting enough. I think she may also be going through a growth spurt hence feeding so much my boobs are nearly empty which leads to frustration. Her latch changes from deep to shallow constantly so I was worried this might be causing an issue.
Breast feeding is like a mine field, you just have no idea if you are doing the right thing or if your LO is getting enough to eat.
