September Babies

Hi everyone, a bit pointless really but i just wanted to share.

so i know of 5 babies due this month

1+2. A good friend of mine due twin on 12th...getting induced on wed! 8th
3. One of my best mates sister due baby on 14th
4. My best mate dud baby on 29th....super excited for this one!!!
5. Friend due baby on 30th

Im so excited for all these babies to be born. if not a little jealous and im wishing them all a safe delivery. can't wait for cuddles

Anyone else know of lots of christmas babies being born this month (hopefully)

Not september, but I know three babies being born at the start of October. I think people really go for it around Christmas/January to get in at the start of the school year. We're hoping to do the same in 2011! Hope I've not jinxed it now!

yeah i agree. also i think ppl wait til christmas is out the way so they can drink and eat what they want without worrying about being pregnant. i know thats what my besty did and lucky for her she fell streight away. Also just a theory but maybe large alcohol consumption helps with the "suprise" babies

We're going to be NTNP for November and December, and I am sure hoping for a July or August 2011 babe!
Fingers crossed!!

Most of my friends who are having babies have either had their babes already this year, or are due a little later - no Christmas babes yet I don't think!

Hi everyone, I don't know any Septembers but know two for November, it is definitely a Christmas/new year thing, people are so much more relaxed, that's why me and my OH have chosen to Start in November to catch the holiday spirit so to speak

eeeeee its so exciting isnt it! do you ladies drink? i would be worried incase i went out drinking when i didnt know i was pregnant. although i do binge drink when im out :/

A bit of news!!! the twins were born yesterday
Twin A was born at 16.33 weighing 5lb15 and twin B was born at 17.22 weighing 6lb4. so proud of my mate x

ah fab news! Pretty good weights for twins too!

Yes I do drink, although not very often and I'm quite lightweight. I suppose I do binge drink, but then my binge drinking is three glasses of wine and I'm done for the night. Such a lightweight!

I don't think the placenta gets going until six weeks? I might be wrong on that, though! The point being, that when the egg is first fertilized, it's not dependent on you for a little while, so you won't be poisoning your baby if you have a drink! I guess you just have to take it a bit easy in the 2WW... Intersperse alcoholic drinks with a soft drink and so on. All the things we're supposed to be doing anyway, but always forget

yeah she was pretty big ClairyF. i seen her last on 1st July and she looked full term then! haha. she had real problems walking and stuff towards the end, not suprised really. she is only about a size 8 pre preg.

@beccad i didnt realise it took a while for baby to start getting things from you. i just assumed it was instant haha. im the same, total lightweight! i only ever drink when im out tho which is only a few times a month atm. no wonder i cant handle it when i do drink. at least it saves us money tho haha.

Yeah there's a yolk sac or something like that, which feeds the baby for a bit. I guess you just have to be a bit careful when you're TTC. Yet another thing to remember!

OMG im so excited right now its unreal!!! i know no one probably cares but i have to tell someone haha. So,

One of my best mates sister wo was due baby on 18th (i thought it was 14th) had her at 11.46pm last night weighing 7lb 5oz.
My best mate who was due baby on 29th JUST text me saying she gave birth at 12.05 to a perfect baby boy weighing 7lb 14oz aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i cant stop smiling haha

Also my other friend who was due baby on 30th had hers on 23rd.

So within 3 days 3 babys have been born!!! AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

funny thing is their in the same hospital and my best mate and our other best mates sister are in opposite beds. im very jealous tho coz our other best mate (the sister) is their visiting her sis so she has got to see our mates baby age 3 hours. boo hoo to me! ha

yeah i cant wait for all the cuddles! gonna go baby present shopping tomorrow...cant wait! haha. just hope my broodyness doesnt get rediculous once i see them!
