@Suggerhoney i think it’s the Harmony I’ll be doing next, I was looking into it after you mentioned the name and it seems that’s it, it’s covered by health care if I’m given a requisition for it. Hopefully I’m not waiting much longer for an appt with the genetics specialist. I can see how this can consume a whole pregnancy and dampen the mood, so many thoughts are jumbled in my head
Sorry hon the test I had was the nipt test, but I think that and the harmony one are the same thing,
It involved going for another ultrasound and having bloods which look for the babies DNA.
So I had scan at 14 weeks and the bloods taken, then waited. 2 weeks later they called and said the bloods came back inconclusive.
They said they would do another blood draw wheb I went in for my gender scan.
I was so looking forward to that scan, but the bloods took away that excitement.
Anyway so I had my gender scan and more blood taken at 16 weeks. Was another 2 weeks of waiting, and they came back inconclusive too. they just couldn’t get the babies DNA. But we put it down to me having a organ transplant.
oh love I hope you can get in asap. That waiting is awful.
Im just so sorry your going through this.
They was 2 other ladies that also got a high risk result. I think there in the July/August or May/June due date group.
One of the women is called Jess something.
And I think Always the aunt got a high risk too,
Think both had the Harmony or nipt test done and it came back normal.
your have to keep me posted lovely, I’ll be thinking of you,
