September Stars

I can't abide the us way that they portray obviously there are people who do want to do things differently I just don't like people telling me what to do :haha:

Aww becs you should be so proud Hope sounds like she's doing so well! Roslaie wants to stand but not so fussed by walking and well talking :dohh: she says mama but not really sure if she's meaning me (highly doubt it)

I noticed how they were pushing the epidural, it was like they thought those who wanted a natural birth were freaks !!! that goes to show you the difference between private and NHS, those rooms were like hotel rooms..

Is everyones baby saying words and doing actions ? Paige says dada and Guck which we think is Jake... but thats all.... I know Paige is one of the youngest, maybe i shouldnt compare...

Lady k - JJ is talkative but isn't making anything recognisable nor any actions. I think he thinks I'm a complete loon as I keep waving it clapping at him with absolute no interest from him. He's sounds have changed in past couple of weeks he now does a piggy snort when he wants his food or he's annoyed

It's funny how far apart they are in age rosalie is over a month older than JJ

I know I kind of forget that sometimes and so much can happen in the space of a month. He's such a big baby too that I always forget he's one of the youngest.

Happy Fathersday peeps!

To celebrate I've got my food delivery arriving and think I'm going to try and get my big pile of ironing done ! What I really need to do is finalise the pics in my wedding album, weve already paid for the album sept 09 but still haven't confirmed what we want in it  really want to complete it before going back to work

I watched one born aswell. I thought it was all to medicalised. That guy who went to buy a pushchair whilst she was in labour really? You had 9 months and choose now to go? My nhs hospital does have rooms like that though they are alot brighter but are ensuite and you labour deliver and recover in the same room.

Ladyk Tyler doesn't say much just dada. He waves and tries to clap but can't quite get it yet.

Happy fathers day to all the daddys!

Well, Izzy is one of the oldest, and is pretty much doing nothing lol!

She has no teeth, can't crawl, has only ever rolled over a handful of times, and can't pull herself up.

She can bang two rollaround balls together when she holds them, but I don't think she's ever tried clapping. Oh, and she LOVES splashing in the bath.

As for talking, she says dadadadadadadadadadaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... and gagaga, but no mummummmum apart from when she cries. And I pretty much know they're all just babbling - although I do let OH believe that she's asking for him when I need to paint my nails :winkwink:

So, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not comparing, cos I've never met an average kid who couldn't walk and talk by the time they went to school.

Plus, I secretly love the gummy smiles and ga ga ga's. And the way she laughs when she makes a new noise and figures out how to make it again. At the moment we're on clicking the tongue and short, sharp shreiks. :)

Wow boony - 25 weeks and 5 days. Where the hell did that time go?!?!?! how are you getting on preparing for bub? Do you know what flavour you're having :winkwink:

Oh, and happy father's day to all. Oh is chuffed cos I got him a 'themed' set of father's day gifts. I got him the guns and roses tab book for the guitar from Emma, a Slash solo CD from Izzy, and a pair of tickets to see Slash in Leeds from me. (although that's a wedding gift really - he aint getting anything else lol).

I also did a big poster of hands and feet prints, saying 'Bestest Daddy Evaaaaar!' on it, but he kinda guessed that the other day when we came back from my MIL's looking like smurfs with the blue paint ;)

Oh, and a little £2 teddy from tesco saying I love my daddy. Although Izzy has pinched that.

So, he's pretty much raked it in this father's day. Which is nice, cos i'm still feeling like shite so he's had to take Izzy to church on his own today.

Talking about church, once I get back from honeymoon, i'm going to start a conversion course at the church for me to become a full paid up member of Catholicism. I was christened Church of England, but my OH is Catholic and I go to church quite often with him. Also, both the girls will be getting baptised Catholic once the wedding is out of the way. Are any of you practicing Catholics? I'm more than a little worried about my first confession... I'll be there all week! Can you just say something like "Bless me father for I have sinned. Lots. And Lots, and Lots and Lots. The man upstairs knows what i've done, he saw. But I won't do it again ever from now on. I promise."

:haha::haha::haha:...sorry opti that has really made me giggle!!!

Sorry iv been VERY awol ladies im finding the work/life/James' medical needs very difficult....my house is like a shit pit but im on strike i have the same xbox/ps3/guitar playing OH as you ladies...and he pisses me off so bad!!! I wish i could come home from work have a nice long shower and sit upstairs practicing guitar then come down and play xbox or ps3 while DF sorts James out and dog out and starts tea!!!!! Mmmmm...cant see that happening! Must admit thou he has been putting in a lot of overtime so we have a bit of extra income :)! We have the appointment with the birmingham specialist on tuesday about James' kidney problem...very anxious but at least we will know more about where we go and what the future holds i suppose.

ppaf returned 4 weeks ago...4 weeks after stopping breast feeding here.

Asher i was the same but kept thinking how hard it wuld have been to have to refuse James a feed...i dont think i could have done it!

I will be completely honest here now and dont want anyone to be offended but iv also been awol because with James being poorly i feel he doesnt do as much as all the other stars and felt a bit like he was trailing behind when i saw that the others were crawling standing ect but iv come on to see others at similar stages :) James sits very well and have gone from not sitting at all to sitting for a few minutes he can now sit playing for about an hour without falling. He has started to move now 'somehow' he kinda rolls from side to back side to back and gets a few feet from where he started lol! He is very vocal and babbles loads...mama is his fave word says it all the time still not said dada yet thou...think xbox will be more appropriate haha!

I am defo gonna try and keep up from now on i promise!!

ooooh forgot to say James is now 15lb 4oz and has been without his tube for over a week...getting him weighed tomorrow and if he has gained weight he may not have to have it back :yay:!!

I know although i'm 26 weeks today is my ticker wrong? Its gone so fast i cant believe it! I think i'm almost sorted got the bigger bits just need things like clothes, mobile, towels etc. I do know what were having but were not saying anything on facebook so shhhh but we are team :pink:
I'm abit gutted though because i had a 4d scan with my other 2 and really wanted one with this one too but we just cant afford it with the boys birthdays being so close and then christmas not being far away either but I guess it'll make the birth more exciting because i wont know what she'll look like.

I got Jaydens start date through for nursery yesterday aswell he starts on 12th september which is only a few weeks before my edd i was hoping he could start a few weeks sooner so he would be settled before babies arrival but now he'll only be there a few weeks and then he might have to take a few days off! Hopefully he'll settle quickly and be ok.

Hi girls

Aw lbb it sounds as if James is doing so well! I know, it's so hard not to compare and sometimes I think if I didn't come on this forum I wouldn't ever wonder about stuff! But we have to remember the age gap between the various stars- Holly wasn't even born in September! And also the fact that all babies are different too :)

xx

Lbb lovely to see you! It's not been right without you !

Your doing fantastically dealing with James work and home and i totally get tour reasons for being quiet , you know that you shouldn't compare I bet you have said it to hundreds of parents before? Hard not to I know but there all doing things in there own time it's amazing how some walk talk eat well roll giggle in different ways! X

Lbb, I think that is the one thing that always annoys me about same age baby friends, (real life as opposed to internet buddies!:winkwink:) you get a lot of 'well little freddy can do this'
They are all babies, some walk earlier, some talk earlier, some eat everything with great enthuasm some need much more encouragement, but like opti said one thing is for sure, they all get there in the end!:hugs:
I just nod and agree now, and share in the joy of all our little ones growing and changing! :cloud9:

I managed to get a pic of Rosies 2 teeth today!:happydance: I love those first little peggies, they seem so big with loads of them!

Rosie is MEGA demanding, we had every hour again through the night, she is on me now making moany noises!
Sofa gone, so sat on floor!
Time to go, back killing me sat here and Rosie being such a fidget!

Sorry, rubbish catch up, its chaos here! xx:hugs:

Boony 26 week  where did that go!!!

Opti :haha: I was baptised but I'm failed.

Awww james sounds like he's doing fab!! It is so hard as a month is a HUGE amount of time to them when they are this small.

Ok now another car question  so would you either....

Get a car that is not exactly what you want (passat) and only take out maybe £1.5k savings

Or

Get what we want (Audi) and take 1.5k savings plus a small loan (£73 a month)

What would you do  battle between the save moneeeeeey part of me (though we wouldn't have been saving that £73 we'd be spending it on something) I just don't know be sensible or not?? Then I'm like wellll we have no credit history (we have no credit cards or borrowed anything) so will be getting a credit history :haha: clutching at straws comes to mind.

Blob - personally I don't think 73 is alot per month for a Loan. If you got the Passat I think you'd always be thinking about the Audi

Lbb :hugs: good luck with the consultant and his weigh in xx

Boony - how exciting 14 weeks is your bump any different from the boys?

Blob personally I would go for the passat. Vws are basically audis without the name and the badge and the higher price tag. With audis you pay for the name! When we were looking for a new car we asked my brother in law who worked in a dealership and knows a lot about cars what he thought to audi and he said overpriced get a vw they are the same but cheaper.

Jelly I don't think its any different nd neither does.jubby. my pregnancy is exactly the same as when I had Tyler so far.
