Awww Jelly so sorry for your husband :( what does he do??

I just got told my friends pregnant too :)

I havent taken rosalie to HV since she was about 3-4 months :haha: such a waste of my time.

He's self employed but has been their for past ten years. It was announced in Feb so we've been really lucky that he's kept his job this long. At least I'll be back at work following week just can't afford the childcare on top of house/bills, but there's 6 month waiting list for nursery so can't take him out otherwise dh will never be able to find a job.

Blob - hes an IT geek :)

Well Amelia had gone into her room tonight I've made it kook as nice as possible and if it works I will decorate it on a few weeks I feel all emotional about it though my babies are so big now and I don't know if they will like being apart and laylas room is bigger than amelias now , I'm rambling on .... I haven't read yet I'll go do that and come back x

Awwwh GG I'm sorry must be really hard for you to split them.

Jelly IT is a good thing to be in tho :hugs:

Jelly sorry to hear about dh job situation it's so rubbish at the moment!
I do however love the pics of jj on Facebook he is such a cutey you can see his personality already he looks like a cheeky chappy x

Blob how's all your cake making these days? X

Fb big congrats to your friend ! X

Btp I love your descriptions of your children ! X

Wow lots of our friends are pregnant and Lady K it made me super broody when she told me but then I thought about it and I arent ready for another one just yet I dont think I could do with the sleepless nights just yet and the whole being pregnant. I am going to wait until this time next year. I think getting snuggles of her little one will settle my broodiness for now lol.

Morning ladies, have finally caught up the last few pages!!

Wow aren't our little stars getting big? I can't seriously believe they're heading for their first birthdays. Sam's is just over a month away now, scary stuff!!

Jelly, sorry to hear about your hubby, hope he finds something very quickly.

GG, hope the girls slept okay. x

Emzy, I'm still up for the Stockport meet but will also come somewhere else too, no probs. Have a lovely time on your travels!

There are so many people who seem to be preggers at the moment, it's a killer!! I want one! Argh! And I really don't think there will be any more babies for us. I'm now on my last bit of unpaid maternity leave, and it's costing so much more this time round. I think it's just because the first two are so much older and cost more. We just shelled out almost £100 for Archie's next batch of swimming lessons! So the little bit of cash we managed to save is almost all gone. So maybe I should just reconcile myself to the idea of no more babies. Sad!!

Well, second day of the school hols for us. As you will have seen on FB, I sat down with the boys and we made a summer hols sticker chart. There are a serious set of rules, and they need to earn 5 stickers a day for good behaviour in order to get a treat!!! So far so good, but Jack's already lost a sticker this morning for having an almighty tantrum. Argh. It's gonna be a long almost 7 weeks......

Right, off to separate the fighters! See you later! x

Asher,
The chart is a must in the holls, and should help, we had very simple rules of no shouting, and be kind to each other and respect each others things, that just about covered it, I included myself in the rules, and i found when i was calm they were calm, although I am thinking the 3 girls will be less trouble than 3 boys...the older boys are almost discounted as they are glued to x boxes or the like!
We had some therapy stuff to work through with Ben when he was 6 and i found it all the other day, things like giving him a back rub to calm him, he is still a cuddly boy and the other day i cuddled him and rubbed his back and it calmed him right down so it must still work!
I must admit to no chart this holls as tbh Ben has really calmed this last year and his outbursts are not behavioural they are ADHD so a chart is not going to help, plus the others are not a fraction as much trouble as he was on his own!!:haha::hugs:

Jelly, sorry to hear about your dh's job, hope he finds something soon, it geeks are needed! :hugs:

Genies, hope the sleep went well, It must be hard but I always have had stages and phases that the children just can't sleep in the same room, atm the girls are a pain, they put a dvd on and end up being awake til late, my 3 yr old has a full scale tantrum with no film, so it is not worth arguing with her right now! I have split the boys before but they get lonely and ask to be put back together, which i think is lovely!:hugs:

Ladyk, I had sims pets on the ds and it started absorbing all my time, I was a vet and spent time curing animals, eating, sleeping etc and after a while as i did with cafe world i started to wonder why i wasn't doing it for real!! I would be I have cakes cooking in my cafe i have to sort them before they spoil:wacko::hugs:

First day of the holls, gas man been in to service the boiler, and Rosie has pebble dashed the kitchen with scrambled eggs!
Rosie has learnt 'NO' she is brilliant with it, if she is just about to do anything and i say 'Rosie No' she stops, this has included getting my things off the fireplace, and touching the trains when the girls are playing with them, she is a very good girl, and out of my 5 only 3 of them including her learnt no, the 11 and 3 yr old still don't know it! :haha:

Right off i go, need to find some under bed drawers to start the children's rooms!

Back later xxxxxxx

my goodness lots going on here! Sorry to hear about your Hubbys job jelly! New babies make me very broody lol!
How did the girls go genies? X

Look at me, coming on twice in one day!! What's going on?!! Ha ha!

I'm just waiting for some pics to upload to ebay to sell some more baby clothes, 3-6 months and 6-9 months. It's all in such good nick, I really hope I get a little bit for it.

The big boys have gone off to nana's tonight for a sleepover, and Sam was in bed just after half 7, so lots of time to sort stuff. DH was giving me the evil eye for rumpy pumpy, so I gave in so I could get on with this ha ha!!!! So once this is done I think we'll have a game of Tiger Woods before we have a bit of supper. Nice glass of wine on the go!

LBB, how is James doing these days? I don't seem to have read any updates. How's his feed and things going? xx

Asher hopefully you will do well with your selling I'm busy selling too !

Now that Amelia Is in her room we are trying controlled crying again as her sleep can go all over the place but I just can't listen to it dh is stronger I want get to sleep better and settle herself but it's so hard listening to the screaming it's my turn to go up in ten mins ahh . Layla enjoyed a night of undisturbed sleep last night she obviously had a drink in the night as her bottle was empty but she sorted herself and went back to sleep .

I think I'll go get the washing in and pop back in a mo for more distraction x

Aw Genies it's hard the crying thing. We do it with Sam in the night, he often wakes between 1 and 3 sometime, usually only once but sometimes more times. I literally just go in and lie him down, but some music on the baby monitor and say night night. It can take up to an hour of getting up and down to him. It's hard, I feel for you, Jack was a terrible sleeper and controlled crying was hell!!!! Hugs!!

Meant to say, go Layla!! What a good girl drinking her bottle on her own in the night, how fab!! x

hey Asher James isnt too bad thanks tube feed is getting up both down as he wakes loads in the night cos of it and last night had cant 6 changes due to being sick cos of it :o(! They now think James has cysts on his kidneys but havent said anymore! I should check out those clothes on ebay! X

well done layla and keep up the good work genies x

Lbb - must be very tiring for you :hugs: loving his new pram

GG - peep round the corner ....... Tip toe in ....... How have the girls been this evening? ........ Ssssshhhhhhhhhh

Asher - loving dh giving you the eye :) hope you have a nice night with the boys at grandparents xx

Bought JJ some stage 1 milk today hoping that will firm up his poop again, going to give it a couple of days before deciding if it's helped. Took him to crèche this morning as I do 4 days a week and he truly cried and got upset ( they say he's reaching the next developmental stage - separation anxiety) , any other Los get this when they are left? He dies it at home too if I put him on the floor to play. It passes in a couple of months. Hopefully before he goes to nursery.

Got a barbie tomorrow fingers crossed for nice weather !

yes jelly its totally normal, James is now totally aware of strangers and whats going on. The nurse came to repass his tube and i only popped my head around the door to say id just put the dog out and he screamed and they came in and he screamed and screamed it really upset me as he obviously doesnt want the tube as he just looked really frightened bless him x

thanks jelly my pram is fab its so light and the seat is really wide so will last a while x

Aww LBB poor little man. Do you know how much longer he's going to have to be tube fed? Must be so hard for you, but bless him, he's still such a little smiler! Loving your pram by the way. I got the OBaby one similar to that, and I love it. I do like Cosatto though. I don't think that one was out when I got mine or I would have bought it!!

Check the clothes out, they're fab! Might be a bit small though, and they're more autumn type clothes I would say. Will try and put a link on. If I'm honest, I don't want to make loads of money on them, just want to sell them. If they don't sell I'll charity bag them.

DH has taken the dogs out and Sam in the pram, so I am supposed to be cleaning before they all get back, the big boys are due back from Nana's at lunchtime. Better go! At some point I need to fill you in on the ongoing issue of the monster in law..... it gets better all the time!!!

the Birmingham specialist wants him to be above the centile he was born on which is about 7th but im worried about not having the tube as he has lost weight both times its been taken out i suppose its like he suddenly goes on a diet as at the moment he has to have 900mls per day 500 of which is through his tube overnight! I still have that bottle here Claire i will post it to you if you can still make use of it! X
