Glad you're feeling better Jelly, maybe your body just telling you to slow down. X

Hope all good with you Emzy and Holly not been testing you too much today!

I've been a busy girl as usual! Had a spag Bol in the slow cooker by 8am, did school run, walked dogs and then went shopping with mother. Took jack for haircut after school, kids had tea, took jack to swim lesson, picked Archie up from cubs, and now just had a shower and sat down. Am going to have a glass of fizzy pop and my spag Bol in a minute! Rock and roll all the way!!

How do you do spag Bol in the slower cooker?

Anyone thought about getting the next car seat up? Apparently can be age 3+ or over 15kg, I'm struggling to get JJ in car and think it would help.

Holly's in hers now as she's over the weight limit for her other one lol She's in a graco one and it just uses the seatbelt instead of straps. Much better for her for the times we go in the car (which isn't very often lol)

Jelly you just quickly brown off your meat and throw your veggies in, then tinned toms, herbs, stock etc (your usual recipe really) and then bubble it just for a couple of minutes, then chuck it in the slow cooker! Job done! It took me 20 mins including the veggie chopping this morning! Easy peasy! I'm not much of a cook, DH does most of it cos he loves it. But the slow cooker is my best friend.

I've got the next size up seat left over from Jack, will probably look at Sam going in it around his 3rd birthday. It's a high back booster.

Harry's friend is in a booster seat now as she is so big.

Loving the slow cooker recipe Asher! I hardly use mine but really should.

I won't move Rosalie until she's nearly 4 I think, that's when it's safe until and when tabs moved from hers into the high backed booster :)

Glad you feel better Jelly :hugs: slow down lady x

Well I'm deep in loadddss of cakes just now :dohh:

Jelly Amelia's in a high back booster now too I bought a kiddicare £29.99 one and its fab I used the straps attached for a while as they were bigger and then recently took them out and now use the main seat belt . Hope your feeling ok x

Blob a cake shop has opened down the road specialising in cup cakes it's so cute I always think of you x

Me I'm suffering from periods from hell again at the moment they haven't been this bad for a long time i should really go back in the pill as that helps but if I do that's a definate no more baby's and I say we don't want more but there's always that tiny weeny oh well if it just happened that be ok :)

GG, can you not go on the pill short term? Or are you NTNP at the moment?? Xx
I am currently on the mini pill, however as I am still BF Elsie I haven't had a period since anyway! ;-) I am going to stay on the mini pill as it has a less effect on hormones. My periods are always all over the place due to my PCOS. The least hormone intervention the better for me.

I love slow cooker recipes. On Tuesday I did a beef casserole in mine... It was in by 7.30am and left all day. Delicious with crusty buttered bread!

Got lots to do today. Doesn't seem like enough time in the day! Best get a wiggle on. Xx

It's not so heavenly when you havent been going to bed until between 2&4am since Sunday night *yawn* almost finished - reaaallllllllyyyyyyyyyy hope they like them :(

GG  I know what you mean just not making that final decision. I also have really bad periods :( its rubbish, normally I just run over packs on the pill.

I got a slowcooker for christmas and use it all the time! I do bolognaise, chilli, stews, casseroles and I did meatballs this week, yummy!! Meat is so yummy slow cooked x

Ive wanted a slow cooker for ages!! I was a bit miffed because my MIL looked at me like I was an idiot and said "What to do you want one of those for, they're for people who have really busy schedules, always out and work"

More or less insinuating I don't have to do that much looking after Ellie and should have plenty of time to cook! :( never asked for one since.

Emzy, those sound delicious. I feel really fat and greedy and I could just eat a massssssiiiveee bowl of spag bol, chilli or meatballs right now even though I've already had tea.

Oh's nans been in hospital too, poor love! we're going to visit her tomorrow and we got her chocolates, going to buy some flowers. But leading on from feeling fat and greedy Im sooo tempted to sit and eat the chocolates tonight  but i dont know if I'd feel too mean an guilty.
I'd obviously buy more tomorrow! and i can't have a glass of wine because im TTC, so stuffing my face with chocolate and making OH have another night of sex is the best im going to get

Think it'd be mean to eat them?

Also, did anyone use opks when conceiving? As Ive said, I got a smiley CD10, 4:30pm, tested again at 8pm and the smiley had gone again :( havent had another since so i dont know what to think, wether that was it and I did OV or I havent.
CD10 seemed a bit early for my 29-32 day cycle but stranger things have happened I guess.
If anyone has any answers to my thread I'd appreciate it though.

I really think I'm out this month already because if it wasnt then, I have no idea and will or have probably missed it. Argh. Too much stress trying to conceive why cant it just happen like it did with ellie!

Opks never worked for me. I never got a positive. Charting was the thing that did it. Sorry to hear about your nan. Now go eat some chocolates and enjoy your Friday night. Xx

You don't have to be uber busy to have a slowcooker, it just makes the meat taste really yummy anyway!! It is so handy though. I do it in the morning, just brown off all the meat and chuck it all in together and cook for 8-10 hours! Makes the house smell like yummy cooking all day as well!

SR - as soon as you get a positive OPK you don't need to retest again and the surge can be very short which is why it's recommended you test twice a day mid morning and late afternoon. If the OPK was positive you are 99.9% likely to ovulate in the next 48 hours.

When starting TTC I popped into a couple of people's journals and found some lovely people who really helped me know what I need to do etc far more so than the threads that made me just feel a bit alone and couldnt relate to anything. I still have a friend TTC Satine pop into to her journal and say hi, think you both could help each other on your way to TTC .

SR, I reckon you could still have a small glass of vino when you're TTC, might help you get in the mood for the sex!! :)
I hope you get your BFP quick quick quick!

Slow cookers are the bomb! We use them for lots of different types of meals! And actually tend to use it on the days I'm off work rather than the days I'm in!

So tired. Sssooooo tired. I need an early night!!

Think I'm going to get one, I never have time to cook now I know you all know this but how the hell can you make dinner when you have 12 - take tab nursery 1 - home 2.30 - pick tab up 3 - home 4 - stables... It's bloody almost bedtime when I'm finished  I need a slow cooker/better skills. Think living too far away from her school doesnt help :dohh: going to be hectic after the summer

SR I'm not sure with OPKs I used them the month I tried with Rosalie and I got two positives? One near the start and the next ages after.. Ended up being the later one but
