September Stars

Hi ladies, well I went to see the doctor today and my treatment is going to be injections every 3 months for the rest of my life! Starting with 6 injections in the next two weeks to bring my levels back up to normal, I suppose I better get used to injections then haha!! Apparently my body can't absorb the vitamin so tablets are not an option for me :( every 3 months isn't so bad though I suppose x

Awww Louise! :hugs: Like you say, every 3 months isn't that bad though(I don't know how you are with injections) but it's much better that it's been noticed and you're getting the treatment that you need for it to stop it getting any worse. xxx

I don't have a phobia or anything but I am really not keen, but then who is!? It'll be ok, like you say it's better that its being treated, after these 6 initial injections I should be feeling 'normal' again, can't wait!

4 a year... Doesn't sound as bad when you say it that way! Injections are crappy but I am sure they will make you a whole lot better. I hope the intensive course gets you back on track and that the symptoms you are presenting will disappear. Xx

Thanks hun, yes I'm not too worried now, it was when he said injections will be every 3 months.. For the rest of your life! Whooooooo that's a long time (hopefully) haha! 4 a year isn't so bad at all really, I'm lucky, it could have been something much more horrible than this x

:( I still always check this thread! but I'm a bit of a bnb addict again now that I'm pregnant. I stopped using it for almost a year before TTC. It'll be sad to see this thread not being used :( I think most people use the Facebook thread because it's more convenient and more people see those posts while they're going about their facebook business :p
xx

And just because for a lil bump......Moved up to a chubbier baby in my ticker today! yay!

Why is it that when you have decided not to have a baby and take precautions that suddenly broodiness kicks in!
Both me and DH have said its sad that I have had the implant. I guess because the option isn't there to have one. He admitted yesterday he is broody! Xx

I like this thread as it is so private. You can write tons too! I guess soon I will be posting her on my lonesome if no-one else still wants to use it! Lol x

I'll still be using the thread, just finding it difficult to find the time to update all the threads and journals I write in at the moment.

SR - yay for moving up a box

Teeny Flo is only 4 weeks old and I'm getting broody, that's with her crying 24/7, constant feeding and until couple of days ago sleepless nights and Id still love to have more babies ..... Just depends on money and dh

Oh and can I just say after meeting her today, teeny Flo is just adorable and has made me majorly broody! Can't believe how big and old Heidi seemed next to her! 9 months tomorrow :o was so lovely to see you today Emma, I will drop the pressie off tomorrow or Thursday, can't believe I forgot it! It's hanging on the kitchen door lol! X

I still love this thread! It's like home. I do go in two September ones for this year but they're not the same.

I can't believe how much of a numpty I am. I try to do a million things at once, so I was coming down the stairs carrying my work laptop, phone, and some washing to put in the machine. I came through the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and snagged my shorts on it, couldn't get them off as I had my hands full, and fell onto the floor. I've hurt my bloomin back and snapped one of my nails off. I am all upset with myself. Argh. Stupid pregnant woman!

Rant over. Louise, am well jell you met gorgeous Flo. Xx

Oh no! I hope you don't have too much lingering pain with your back after that Asher. You'll have to put your feet up for a bit and see if it eases off. I am now petrified of the stairs since I fell down them the other week and bruised all my arms and my back side  I've never been so glad to have a huge arse :haha:

I think it's lovely how well everybody on this thread just gelled together. I also visit an October thread for baby number 2 but it isn't the same, nice ladies, but not the same. I think all but one or two of them are American/Canadian also which makes me feel a teeny bit left out for some reason.

Thanks SR! I landed on my hands and knees but must have pulled my already sore back. It's been rotten this week anyway and I've gone and made it worse! I feel so stupid!!
The September threads are a bit the same, so I know what you mean. The ladies are all lovely but there are only a few Brits in there. X

Flo's June thread has no flow or closeness to it which is strange as was only about 15 people regularly posted. Most post in facebook and few are from the uk.

Louise was lovely to see you all just a shame JJ was at nursery.

Asher glad you didn't hurt you or baby badly, hope your back is ok :hugs:

Had hv round today and Flo is finally starting to gain weight even though Shes still below her birthweight, been told to formula feed once a day in the hope this helps her to gain. Got to continue drinking my full fat milk banana yeast drink too

I found that with Rosie's June Thread lovely ladies but not as close as this one and that one faded away long ago even before the babies were born as most used Facebook. Teeny even I got broody today, I blame the royal baby i was so emotional watching them come outside and that newborn new parent feeling they have I was jealous, no more at all for me though.

FB - I like the thought of having a whoopsey in a few years time but know in reality we couldn't afford a 3rd :-(

Oh Asher I hope you're alright, be careful and look after yourself!!

I got a bit broody looking at the royal baby, strange, I'm not a royalist at all but they do seem like a genuine couple and I do love that he strapped the baby in and drove away himself, even if it was with a police escort! It's like the closest they'll get to normality!! I wonder if there'll be a baby boom in 9 months from all the broody women watching their moment?!

I think baby boom! we'll have to see :haha: I got majorly broody and I'm already pregnant.

What does the banana drink do Jelly? My milk supply is really low at the minute and I don't know what to do.

Oh Asher, I hope you are okay. Xx
