ok so far ...i'm new to this first time mum n unfortunaly goin at it alone but ever so excited i just love all the lil stories on here think i will find somr stuff very usefull

Despite all the banter, which does get a bit surreal sometimes (usually when the "sane" Star-dust is around.... love Star-dust!!!), the ladies on here are great for helping with stuff so never be afraid to shout if you have silly questions or just want to rant!

Now I feel bad about how much I've spent on myself... plus the exercise ball, plus the beanbag.... that's it, the spending stops here! (lucky I already ordered that dress)

Don't feel bad!!! This is not a time to feel bad!!! This is a time to feel gooooood!!!! We neeeeed all this stuff!!!!!

I love that I feel like I could do anything and then turn to you to make me feel less guilty about it

Welcome to the looney bin!

I bought a few things at the weekend, but ended up buying no maternity stuff, because it was all poo
just bought bigger sizes with lots of lycra and a summer dress which is a bit longer than i'd normally wear and with space at the tummy for me to grow.
When you're not the smallest size to start with, maternity clothes look riiculous and tent like
not that those boasters with have helped....

men are stupid silas, ignore them or tell them as much!!

oh and guess WHAT??!!!!
I can't believe I haven't told you this yet, out shopping at our mini sainsburys on fri for dnner party and I needed ice cream - they only had about 3 things in the freezer, but one was fab lollies¬!!!!! I had to buy them as an ode to septembryos!!!!!!!

I really have to try a fab lolly one day, having heard so much about them on here!

10thSept, maternity clothes are tricky things to buy for any size! I've found trousers/jeans to be the worst. It's like because the designers don't know exactly how much you'll grow they just leave all this random room which means that they kind of hang weird when they're on. And why are so many maternity clothes black?? I used to be a major goth but even I don't want to wear black all the time! If you can find normal clothes that will work you're better off. That just doesn't work for me and my slightly odd shape, I'm too lanky and my bust isn't big enough (even with the pregnancy hormones)....

Bust is one thing I'm NOT lacking!! So I end up having to buy things in an even bigger size to accommodate the boobage!!!!!!!!
They're still bigger than my tummy I think, even though I have a pregnant looking tummy now!

I've already offered to go through a boob transplant with Star-dust so that she can give me some of hers - feel free to send me some too if you like! I'm desperately waiting to have proper cleavage for the first time in my life and it just hasn't happened yet

Although some people have said I'll lose a lot after breastfeeding - I'm a bit scared about that because as much as I'd like to be smaller, I don't want nothing at all - here's hoping I've got enough to start with that I don't lose it all!!!!!
At the mo though, the words my cup floweth over come to mind!!
