septembryos baby area (09 babies)

congrats Cracker and Gers!!

It's been another busy week on team pink!!! :D

congrats to gers on her litlle girl.

just back from my midwife appoinment and she couldn't do sweep. my cervix is very very posterior! great. it hurt like hell! she said that she could of tried to move it more but it was causing me alot of pain.
luckily i have appointment booked for +10 on thursday at 3pm. which i was agin told i was very lucky as they usually run out of spaces and it goes on to be +13 before any are available!

i am really sore now and going to have a well earned cup of tea. i have a very happy baby who is now 4/5ths engaged so beginning to head in the right direction!

good luck to all others who were having a sweep toda. i hope yours was more successful. xx

Well that was a very strange experience. Hopefully I won't have to go through it again on Thursday. Loadsa plug and other crap has come away, nothing like I expected it to look like, and I'm 2-3 cms dilated so fingers tightly crossed something starts happening soon.

Sorry yours never went to plan first alien maybes just the MW poking around will set some wheels in motion? Glad to hear bubs is well engaged tho. Can't be too much longer.

Going for a walk now to see if I can get these contractions started!!!

congrats to those that have had babies in past few days, hugs to those still waiting.

i've not been about much as blake being a grumpy arse and has been for about 4days now - i think hes teething already! Plus i have let the house go to a tip as had no energy, so had to do a major tidy!

silas - back pain & problems after epidural are normal. hence why i wouldnt have 1 as already have bad back.

thanks
In my birth plan i specifically wanted my OH to be the voice of reason during the seond stage of labour as i didn't want an epidural but he was sent home as visiting hours were over but i was on the brink of active labour. If she had examined me before he was sent home she would ahve realised that i was 3cm dialted

the nurse said the 'shes had 2 children already and it'll take ages for me to dialate go and have a hot bath'
i tried to point out to her that the baby was back to back and i can't lie on my back i was on all fours on the labour ward at this point and she still sent him home. I was hysterical.
5 minutes after he got sent home the pains intensified and even though they had given me gas and air it wasn't doing anything, i was completely high and screamed for an epidural. I wasn't thinking and I regret it now :(

I just found this, can I still join? Holly WAS a Septembryo till she decided to come 3 weeks early and was born in August.
Silas :hugs: hope your back feels better soon, I had backache after my second child was born, I also felt the epidural was the reason for it, but now I wonder if it was the combination of good old hormones and lifting an ever growing baby every 2 seconds, guess Ill never know for sure.

Hi girls, I have only managed to bring myself to come to this website. My little man, Joshua Alexander, was born on 25th September at 11.38 but sadly passed away at 20.10 that night. Both me and my husband are devastated as he was our first. When I can gather my thoughts I will post our story in the appropriate section.

 So sorry for your loss. You and your husband are in our thoughts and prayers.

Awwww good luck lhamil!
You just need everything to hand really - it is one of those things that you will find crazy then becomes normal...
Have an outfit and hat and nappy ready for babs as soon as he is born to hand as you won't be fit to root through a bag in the throes of 2nd stage labour, and keep hydrated too :D
pk- I'm on it!

Posh

I am so sorry honey. :hugs:

RIP Joshua Alexander. You were too good for us!

You are all in my thoughts xxxxxxxx

Hello!
Glad to see everyone is doing pretty well...aside from some backaches.

As to the sex thing the other day...nurses in hosp said absolutely none for 6 wks cuz of the section...but the 30th was our 5 yr anniversary so we did have a little tumble, lol. I go tomorrow for my check up. I'm hoping to get cleared for everything...including getting back to the gym.
