septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Good luck for today Lhmail. i'm booked in for thursday so will soon be joining the mummy gang.

i must admit its very disheartening seeing that the january due babies now have a thread on here and i still haven't had my september baby!

i'm awake ridiculously early as cant get back to sleep. induction is whirring through my brain and trying to discuss diffferetn scenarios with hubby so that he can answer for me if needs be! probably a little over dramatic but we dont want to look back at the birth of our boy and regret any decisions. so we have discussed option of assisted delieveries.

can't wait to meet my little man. so strange thinking i only have 2 more days at home before induction! crazy

good luck to all those who like me are overdue and have impending induction date. xx love to all mummies x

posh - thanks for being brave and coming to tell us, sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your family. x

good luck to those being induced. x

OMG am I gonna be the last???? I get another sweep on Thursday and induction hasn't even been mentioned!!!!

Good luck Lhamill and first alien. Hope you both have swift labours. x

Blimely, you're good! I'm struggling to cope with just 1!!!

Octomum has 14 children altogether, she gave birth to 8 in one go!!!
If you have more than one you just have to deal with them. You can't give one away so there is no other way than to be good:haha:

Oh, I've heard of her. She has been in our news.

peakydon i would have thought you'll still beat me. they say it takes about 48 hours for a sweep to work sometimes so you could go on wednesday. i'll keep my hopes up for you though.
got my week planned now which is such a relief. i have a friend coming round today. getting my hair cut 2mrw and sorting out the roots. then having a lazy morning on thursday ready for hubby to take me to hospital so we can final evict this little one.

There has to be some kind of coolness about being last though :D You can see what gifts go down well when they all turn 1 next year and stuff?? i dunno...slightly mushybrained still methinks!

Hey ladies - I have been meaning to swing by but each time I get online I end up updating the 3rd tri thread, ploughing through facebook stuff and then have to go!

I am still classing myself as a Septembryo mama even though I birthed a bumpkin!

How are you all?

I am having my Dolly Parton phase now and so Paloma decided that it was more amusing to knock drops of milk down than to have a proper latch on and therefore took 3 attempts to have her post-school-run snack!

I've foiled her minxy ways by expressing whilst she naps now so the next feed should be less fragmented!

I also tend to get a little burp out of her - I think if they come off they can take in air then so that must be why....

Hope you get your all clear babs :D I can't believe some of you have little ones who are hitting the 6 week mark and I am not at 6 days yet - tis mad :D

Silas - I was set to not ask for pain relief til my contractions kicked right in and I was considering taking anything they offered - twas only the fact that I had taken so long to drag my contracting back-to-back ass outta the bath that meant I had reached 8cm and they couldn't offer me anything otherwise my non-epidural plans would have been soooo abandoned!

Hi girls, I have only managed to bring myself to come to this website. My little man, Joshua Alexander, was born on 25th September at 11.38 but sadly passed away at 20.10 that night. Both me and my husband are devastated as he was our first. When I can gather my thoughts I will post our story in the appropriate section.

So, so sorry for your sad loss. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. x

There aren't so many left now...tis hard to tell though as some ladies haven't been about in a while hence the mystery mamas list....
Ahhh what will happen to the thread?!?! It would be so weird to lose it...

hi everyone, how is everyone doing, cant believe alfie was a week old yesterday, its really flown by!! he is feeding every 3 hours so only getting up twice a night but im sooooooooooooooooooooo tired, forgot how hard it was, lol. i just have no time with a baby and 17 month old and i havent even had to do the school run yet, thats coming on thursday!! we've been at least half hour late everywhere!! lol. do you think the school will mind!!!

That frequent feeding and napping cycle seems endless doesn't it?! I still can't imagine a 'bedtime'....

hey every1...whos still pregnant??...:hugs:

good luck for inductions this week i cant wait for every1 to be over in the baby group...i really should keep up in there more...:dohh:

Hi all :)

Silas, how's your backache?

Sex... well, I had a 2nd degree tear which the doctor described as "complicated" so I'm still extremely tender! I'm also feeling very unsexy as because my pregnant belly was really sticky out at the front (ie all my weight was in front, I didn't put any on anywhere else) it's still really very much there and I look about 5 months pregnant. So OH is having to be patient

Had the MW over yesterday and Finn is now 9lb 5oz, the little chubster! He just loves his milk! He's generally being such a good boy, although we had a colicky episode last night and he cried from midnight to 3am. He finally crashed out in our bed and slept through to 8am, bless him.... it just breaks my heart when he cries like that though. He hardly ever has a proper cry but last night was full-on :( Really hope it doesn't get repeated any time soon!

Misswren, you'll always be one of us, even with a bumpkin baby ;)

Good luck to everyone who's still waiting their LO's arrival!

Posh, I can't imagine what you're going through. Huge hugs and loads of love to you and your OH xxx

Lennox is nearly a month old so i took him to his appt yesterday. He now weighs 9 pounds and is 22 inches. He was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 21.5 inches at birth. So i was worried about his weight gain being only 15 ounces, but I never took into account that he lost weight after birth and weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces on the 14th. So he actually has gained a pound and a half in 3 weeks which is great. Also BF'd babies are leaner than formula fed babies, so i need to stop comparing my other kids weights with Lennox as all of them were formula fed. This is the first time I'm BFing and now that i know he's just fine I will continue doing it without supplementing with formula!

ihamil I hope your induction went well and you are holding your LO as I type! Especially since it's about 9 pm where you are. I'm only at 3pm.

hey!! :hi:

FG :hugs: for finns horrible colic must be horrible!!....mason loves to come have a cuddle in bed with mummy, so much so i think he has got into a routine of doing it after every morning feed now ...hmmm im wondering if this is a bad idea to continue, but i love the snuggles :cloud9:

well i feel crap thought i was suffering from what i thought was the cold/flu...but now im thinking it may be mastitus as my left boobie is agony, huge and with red patches on it...and it would explain the flu symtoms!!...arg i hope not ...ad a blocked duct for 2days last week but it went with heat pads and emtying the boob....gonna try this again and hope it works!?

I hope you get some relief rachy. Thankfully I've not experienced more than being very full and uncomfortable.
Everything was good at the Dr today...would hit the gym this evening, but have come down with something. I have the worst sinus headache and all the sinus drainage is going down my throat, so now my throat is sore too. UGH! I so don't need this!!
On the up side I've lost all but 6 lbs of baby weight! I know once i get to working out between that and BFing I'll be good to go and then some.
Oh 10th sends her regards as well, said she feels bad that she has not been on. She is still trying to get a routine going and has had her hands full and been exhausted.

Hi everyone!!

Babiiblu-- thats a great effort loosing all that weight. I've lost 14kg since bubby's birth which is great.Reckon its all the running around and sleep dep!!!Lol.

Rachy- hope your feeling better soon and Chayce loves his cuddles in bed as well.

Firegal-- wow that was a good sleep for bubby and YOU....cant wait for that to happen with Chayce!!I also had a second degree tear, so I know how you feel.

Misswren-- congrats on your baby girl!!!

Mom2pne--- I was the same stressing about weight with bubby but have decided not to let it get to me and know that our bubs will let us know how much they want.

:hugs:Silas for the backpain.

Afm-- well been very teary and overwhelmed lately and I hope its just a phase, Im just really tired so putting it down to that.
