septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Amy of course u are a septembryo hehe...we wouldnt want u to leave us :hugs:

And yay about the highchair thats fabby!....we tried mason in his for the first time, he looks so teeny in it i had to put a cushion under his bum....he had another rusk which he sooked on and tried baby rice but he didnt like it lol might try him with some banana later :)

Amy, you'll always be a septembryo hun :) Congrats on the highchair!!

I really wanta chicco polly one, but they're flipping expensive new, so am watching loads on ebay. Fingers crossed I can get one soon!!

We went to the asda baby event today and god was it busy!! There was no real bargins left and we queued for ages :( That is an hour of my life that I'll never get back lol!!

vicks - what chicco one u wanting hun?....i know kiddicare.com have a really good sale on just now, maybe try looking there?

Thanks Rach! I'll take a look :)

How are you & Mason doing? xx

We're doing ok, hes much better now, still has his cough but much better in himself, back to his cheeky self lol...the other night was terrible he was up between 1-5am!! sooo not like him eating constantly so ive started him on some baby rice to see....wasnt all that fond tho haha....loves rusks to chew though

hows u and joe?

We're all good thanks! TMI Alert though .....He's had a few more poo's than usual today and I was worried he has a bug, but he's also been dribbling loads so I think his teething stepped up abit. He's feeding fine, really happy & alert when he's awake & sleeping fine, so I think it's his teeth.

vicks - I just got a chicco polly magic chair from my local mothercare store in the sale, don't know if they still have the online sale but we got £50 off in store, think it was only £30 discount online. Ryan loves the toyabr that comes with it.

mom2pne - I really thought I was sufferning mild pnd as the 'baby blues' lasted well into the 6th week after Ryan arrived. Staying in the house too much did my head in I think! I found that having at least one reason to go out of the house a day really helped, thankfully my parents live only a few miles away so we went there every night for tea for 2 weeks, my mum gave me back my old housekey too which just made me feel better knowing that if i got cabin fever again i could just go to their house, even if they were out, for a change of scenery. To be honest I do get a bit down, and quite annoyed and irritable if I spend more than 2 consecutive days at home even now, so I go out as much as possible and go to loads of free baby groups. I also tell my OH/ mum/ health visitor/ anyone who'll listen if I've had a crappy day - just saying it out loud makes it a smaller problem for me too.
Sorry bit of a ramble there! Hope you find lots of ways to help you cope until your appointment. :hugs:

vicks - thats a key sign of proper teething, also so is cold symptoms...mason is teething really bad just now aswell his cheeks are sooo red and hot!!...hopefuly its not a bug but if he seems fine thats a good sign

hey sianma - ryan is sooo adorable, glad to see u found us again hehe

Hey all!

Vicks- Just looked at the chicco polly, blimey thats expensive, looks great though!!! We have just got one of my cousin, i took the seat off to wash it and now cant work out how to put it back on, oops!!!!
The nappies are definitely a sign of teething, Izzy's were horrible! and frequent! She seems to be getting better with her teeth i think, maybe they have stopped hurting for a while!
Rachydaz- Glad that Mason is feeling better and back to his old self, bless him! Izzy loved rice but i think most babies dont! Ahhh bless him loving rusks- the pics on facebook are adorable!

Well we had family from Kent yesterday they turned up when Izzy was due a nap, so i told them she would probably be cranky and that she is funny with people she doesnt know. Well she made me out to be a liar, she was passed around happily for an hour, smiles for them all!!!! Little madam! haha! i like it when she proves me wrong!

Hey Scally! Ah, glad Izzy was ok yesterday. Joe's not fond of strangers either and hates being passed around. I'm not keen on it either!

He's had no more poo's since his 3 yesterday. He's normally a 1-a-day kinda guy!!!

Rach, your pics on fb of Mason are soooooooooo cute!! I REALLY want a highchair!! OH's mum has bought one for him 2nd hand, it's in good nik, but it's wooden, has no comfy chair part, doesn't recline and is to tall for our table :( She got it without asking us and isn't really suitable til a baby is atleast 7 or 8 months because of it's size. OH has said I can get another one, but it has to be 2nd hand to save some cash! We can always use the one MIL bought at her house... God, I sound so ungrateful don't I :( I am very grateful for her buying it, but just want one that reclines, folds up and has different height settings, so we can use it from the start.

Its lovely that she bought u one, but could have checked with you on what sort of one u wanted. I know what u mean about the wooden ones, we tried izzy in one in a service station and it really didnt work, even though we tried to pad it up with blankets!

I re-read my post back and I sound super rude & ungrateful  I'm really not, I think it's just because I did so much research (well, surfing the net) when I was pregnant that I know the type of things I want to get for Joey :(

U do not sound rude and ungrateful!!! I know exactly what u mean!

After stocking up on nappies, wipes and that sort of thing at Asda yesterday, just found a voucher in yesterdays sun for £5 off when you spend £50 or £10 when you spend £100. nnnnnnnnnoooooooooo :hissy:

hi,

i know i'm a sepptembryo, the august ladies wouldnt know what had hit them if i had suddenly packed my bags and left you lot and joined them. it's not my fault blake was impatient! LOL!

****INFO****
did you know that kiddiecare now accept paypal? i didnt until last night. i had a message from paypal about getting cashback into my account, so clicked and it takes you to pages of places that now accept paypal - some of which give cashback on purchases, and kiddiecare was 1 of those that now accept!!!

the older 2 are driving me mad and they really need to go out and run about BUT middle son is still really chesty (chest infection) which is affecting his asthma, so not the best of ideas. think i'm going to have to give them DS's back!

hey since everyone is talking about getting highchair i just need to ask.. aren't they meant be sitting b4 using one of them or it's ok to put them a bit ealier ?
We having a lazy sunday again:)

some ppl say they are meant to be sitting up but if you are weaning early you need something higher than a bumbo or bouncy chair. you can get some high chars that are multi-position.

Vicks- soooo not ungrateful hun, i know whats its like u have ur mind and heart set on what u like and what will work for u....My MIL buys all sorts of things we dont need lol...
The wooden ones looks so uncomfy, could u sell it on ebay and use the money to buy a new chicco 1? :)

Thanks for commenting on me piccies on fb hehe, i take soooooooooo many its unreal, mason is just too cute not too :haha:

we have a graco highchair and it is suitable from "can hold head unaided" as it says on the box haha....we tried him in it and its great altho he looks so small haha
