Rach - I did the same, slept funny and have had a sore back all day. Might go for a nice bath while Ryan is asleep, once 24 has finished.

Vicks - I noticed in Asda today that they had some highchairs for £25 - didn't look close enough to see how adjustable they were though but they looked pretty good.

How is everyone this morning? God a lie in would be lovely wouldnt it, gone are the days of getting up after 9, should have made the most of sleep when i was pregnant! Izzy is getting better at nights (touch wood) she only woke at 1.30 last night, took a while to settle but she went back. Me and OH have a system now so i only have to do two nights night duty then he does one, so i dont get too exhausted!

oh yeah forgot to say, my sis rung yesterday her baby weighs the same weight as Izzy but is 3 months older!!!!! lol

I'm getting Joe weighed tomorrow, he hasn't been weighed since 17 weeks so I think he'll be about 17lb by now (at least!!). How much does Izzy weigh hun?

Joe has started to wear his 6-9 month PJ's now and his 3-6 month sleepsuits are a little tight but the 6-9 ones are massive!! When I had him weighed at 13 weeks a 6 month old baby was on the changing mat next to him and he was longer!! No one can believe he's only nearly 5 months old!!

Hey leelee! U havent been on for ages!!!! how are things? Hows Chloe?

Vicks- she was weighed just over a week ago and she was 17lb! She was definitely the bigger baby there! lol. Izzy is really long too! I dont know whether to buy a snowsuit for 6-9 months, whether they'll be in them for much longer? She also needs sleepsuits and bodysuits the next size up, they havent been in the 3-6 months very long have they?

The nappies are definitely a sign of teething, Izzy's were horrible! and frequent! She seems to be getting better with her teeth i think, maybe they have stopped hurting for a while!

Sorry, TMI WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!....

Sorry to have to ask this, but Joe just had the worst nappy EVER, it was kinda like there was bits of curdled milk in there.....Is this a sign of teething or a tummy bug? He's fine otherwise, but is still dribbling loads, little red cheeks, feeding fine etc????

I would say teething, because of his red cheeks, dribbling and that he is fine in himself. I got so worried about some of Izzy's nappies i asked the HV but she said its very normal with teething. She had them for about a week when she first started teething but now just has the occasional one, but if u r worried def speak to your health visitor. Also check his fontanelle isnt sunken (sorry never know how to spell that!)

He had a similar nappy on Saturday, but is fine in himself otherwise. I'm getting him weighed tomorrow anyway so will ask the HV then. My HV hasn't been in touch at all She's rubbish, didn't turn up for a home visit on 30th November and when I called to chase her up she'd gone on holiday til the middle of January and still hasn't called me back!!

I really think u need to complain about your HV, thats bad that she didnt turn up for your visit! Seriously see if u can change her!

I'm not sure how often they're supposed to be in touch?? How often do you guys see yours?

What really got me is that the meeting on 30th November was to follow-up about possible PND. I had geared myself up to admit to her that I thought I did have it and then she never showed. I was in bits Luckily my Dr helped loads, but she was angry too that my HV just hasn't bothered.

Oooh, I could rant all day about her lol!!

my HV told me i have her number and to ring if i want to see her. if not she will see me when i get him weighed etc.


as much as i want blake to talk theres a time n place - and 4:30am in his cot is not it!!! for nearly 10mins he just lay there saying what can only be described as "HELLO!" over and over again. he didnt want bottle or dummy. LOL!

apart from being tired LOL! we are ok. much better now the heating fixed etc and middle son back at school (he's still chesty n wheezy though).

he's still not having anything of the jars of baby food - spits them but he will eat our food through the blender. he has baby breakfast n a bottle milk at 8am. has a bottle at 10am, 1pm he has dinner (1 ice cube tray worth of whatever i have frozen - fish chips n peas, sunday roast lamb or beef, beef stew, taccos, spag bol, mixed veg etc) plus 8oz juice. 3pm bottle milk, 6-7pm bottle milk, 9pm bottle milk, 11pm bottle milk and goes through until 6am (unless talking!) he has gone back to 7oz bottles since taking 2 meals.

i cant wait for it to warm up so can go out with my camera to the park/train station/cathedral/river etc. i dont tend to take "normal" photos. you can find me and some of my best shots at redbubble.com - username amylw1

Vicks- I have seen two different HV, and that was when we first got out of hospital, i dont even know if i have a main HV. We can see different ones when we go to the baby clinics.

Amy- Bless Blake he is doing so well with his food! And bless him with his talking, but 4.30 is def not the time! lol

thanks. he LOVES his food, and clears both breakfast and lunch. thing is i dont know where he puts it as he's still under 14lb. but saying that he always has his arms and legs waving and kicking and does wriggle loads, so he probably burns it off. i dont want to give him his 3rd meal a day until 6months if i can get away with it. he seems happy enough but is still taking more milk than they say he needs.

Hey all Chloe is doing good thank you. sorry havnt been on in ages was very busy after christmas!!!

Chloe now has a bedtime of 7pm now and sleeps through till 7am (YAY) (sometimes 9! lol) She has her first cold atm poor thing very snotty it seems to have put her off of her milk tho and shes eating more food (solids) to compensate! She still drinks enough milk tho, just not as much as normal!

we are having our second attempt at a photo shoot on thursday....we had one last week but Chloe had other ideas and decided to cry and want to go to sleep!! argh i really hope it goes better this time
