septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Scally - that sucks about the boiler, but not something you can do without this winter!!

Vicks - you should take him... It's great fun! Thanks for thinking of me back at work... Sp far 'm dreading it but left Isaac this morning to have a bottle and lunch with daddy and he was fine! It's me who's worrying more!! He won't care!!

As for organising the christening it should be all sorted some people at the church are doing the food for us and I've sorted invites just need to bake a cake and choose a hymn, oh and get Isaac's outfit .... Any suggestions??

Good morning! How are u all????

Well Izzy had her first night last night in her own room, she slept well only waking at 4am for a bit of a chatter, me on the other hand woke up frequently, jumping up when she coughed etc. Hoping i'll get used to it, feels very weird!

morning all.

Scally - 240 quid on the boiler - OMG!!! Bet its strange having Izzy in her own room. I mentioned to the OH about putting NOah in his own room, but he wasn't too keen. He thinks its a bit too cold for him. Looks like Noah will be staying with us until the end of March....not too sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing?

Kathryn, hows the cold? Have you set a christening date for Isaac yet? Last one i went to we sung Oh Jesus I have Promised, it was lovely and seemed quite fitting.

Vicks - i haven't taken Noah swimming yet, but really want too. I have the swim nappies and his little body suite all ready, just need to get my ass into gear!

Does anyone else's baby scratch them selves badly when waking up? I thought Noah would have grown out of it by now - but i still have to put scratch mitts on him.

Hey Diz!
I would have been happy to have Izzy in with me until she was 2 lol, but we thought it might have been us waking her up so much! It did feel so strange! I went in there loads to check her thermometer too, as her room is colder than ours. Still havent collapsed her travel cot in our room, just in case..... lol
Izzy always seems to have scratches on her, no matter how short i cut those nails, they are still sooooo sharp!

Thats my exact thinking for putting Noah into his own room..i'm convinced we wake him up. Let me know how it goes.

He's having such a god nap at the mo....it been 2 hours so far! On friday night he was so difficult to settle at night that he ended up sleeping in bed with us from about 9.30 right through to the morning (OH said it was the best nights sleep he's had for a long time lol). Last night he was much better.

Well done Noah on the nap!!! 2 hours, thats great!
Will let u know how she gets on, last night she only woke once, which is great! i think she woke another time, but she only had a small whinge and then went back to sleep. But my OH was on duty last night, i am tonight, so knowing my luck it'll be every hour!

hi,

hope all are well.

scally - £240 for boiler thats cheap - mine cost me just under £400 a few weeks ago. its still annoying though. we are still recovering from it.

i was out at 9am yesterday building a bloody snowman!!! only ppl in street inn snow were me n my eldest 2! lol!

£400 Amy! bloody hell! i thought what we paid was bad! Double whammy now though, just walked into the kitchen and the washing machine is leaking!!!! aggghhhh!

U had that much snow?!!!! blimey

Hows Blake?

hi,

our boiler it was the motherboard bit that went - most expensive part, plus the labour/fitting. was a nightmare.

when we went to bed sat night it was raining. OH got up at 3am to let cat out (we both thought other had done it at bed time), and there were a few flakes here n there. by the time we got up at 8am everywhere was white and about 3" deep. we just went up and down the street to make the giant snowball for head n body. he stands about 3-4ft high and easily 2ft wide!!! has started to melt though.

blake is a prize grump as he has woken hrly for past 2 nights, mainly cos he lost his dummy! but i'm mean and wont let him sleep for long during day in hope he will sleep through again. apart from that he's fine, weighs 14lb 2oz, still having 2 meals a day and still wont eat baby food so has to have our food in blender! he's really cheeky but sooooo funny/cute - he waves his arms to get attention, then when you speek to him or tickle him etc he blows a raspberry and laughs!

Diz - I like that song too... but have quite a few favourites!! Also we put Isaac in his cot a while back and he sleeps so much better, I think it's because he can't smell milk all the time - also when he does wake it's often for water rather than milk.

Scally - it seems like you are making great progress!!

I went to a spa last night with a group of friends and as Isaac hadn't had much milk before going to bed (as it was from a bottle) I thought I'd dreamfeed him when I got back - big mistake!! For some reason every time I dreamfeed he wakes every couple of hours, and yet if I leave him he'll sleep through til at least 4am - although Sat night was 8am before waking up!!

thats cool that she slept through. wish blake would go back to doing that but he keeps getting arms/legs stuck as he wriggles.

woohoo way to go izzy :D
i am taking Chloe swimming today for the very first time!!! good luck to me lol

omg Chloe absolutly loved swimming :happydance: she was getting so excited kicking her little legs and looking around, we were able to stay in the pool for half hour before she started getting hungry, she probably would have stayed in longer if she wasnt hungry! im so happy as it means she should be ok when we go on holiday in 2 weeks :D she even enjoyed being in the shower with me afterwards!

hope everyone and their LO's are ok xxx

hi,

blake's "hop n pop" by fisher price arrived today. he loves it!!! i wouldnt get a baby walker as i dont think they are safe on laminate and lino, this thing keeps him upright and as he moves up/down it plays music and lights up but doesnt move.

he's been in it 10mins and i would say go buy 1!!!!! smiles and laughter.

Amy- going to have to go and google one! sounds good!

Leelee- glad Chloe liked the swimming!
