Hello I wish I wasn't so busy! I hate having to play catch-up!

I've been missing being pg lately. I keep looking in on those due this September and miss how happy I felt. It also doesn't help that this weekend is when I conceived my 1st angel baby. He/she would be 18 this year.

leelee- we got a rocker/walker for Izzy and so far so good, she doesnt like the noise the panel makes- god it goes on forever, but she seems to be a fan of it so far!

I cant believe what happened, my OH put Izzy on the bed, i remember thinking its a bit close to the edge, he walked so he was by me, and the next thing i knew she was toppling straight to the edge, i yelled Dave, and he kind of threw himself, slid along the floor and caught her! Luckily he is good at fielding in cricket, i wasnt even halfway to her. My heart was in my mouth! So pleased she is absolutely fine, but god it took me a while to recover!

scally - we have all done it at somepoint to 1 of our children, or banged their head on a doorframe etc. and IF a parent says they never did by the time child is 18 they are lying!!! i know it doesnt make it any easier but these things happen.

hi,

OH boss is being a complete pr*ck! not a major then nothing new there. he sacked the other driver 3weeks ago and increased OH hrs from 30 upto 40 per week to cover the work. not a problem.

yesterday the boss told OH he is now on call 7days a bloody week and has 15mins to get from our house to the van when he gets a job. our house is 25min drive from where vans are kept if the roads are clear!!! boss told him he finds a way to get there quicker, OH asked if he could bring van home and was told no! he said what happens IF we are in tesco doingthe shopping etc - boss told him he leaves it and gets to the van!!! or better still we order online - cant do that as no credit card! OH said when is he meant to have time with his family the boss said during the times we have no jobs.

i am so pi**ed off its unbelievable. OH spends very little time with us as is due to his hrs - leaves at 2-3am some days and other days he leaves 2-3pm or anything else in between and when he on nights he sleeps during day. but he did have weekends off so we could do stuff. but cant even do that now. boss said if dont like it leave! easier said than done as we have bills to pay and if OH leaves of own choice we cant get job seekers for 6months. PLUS OH doesnt always get paid when he is meant to.


and to add to problems the car failed MOT yesterday and we cant get it repaired until next w.end, which means OH cant get to work and the boss said he gets there in 20mins or is sacked!!! bike is going to take an hr and bus is 2 buses and over 45mins.

scally- glad izzy likes the walker Chloe didnt like the sounds at first but loves them now and is always setting them off!! although i wont let her sit in the walker too long so i dont get too anoyed with the sounds im so glad that she is ok and your OH caught Izzy before she fell xxx

just over a week till my holiday which i am now looking forwad to, now i know Chloe likes the water

busy day monday...i need to take Chloe to baby clinic for weigh in, then to music man for a bit of a play and then off to a new baby group. argh i think she might get a bit stoppy with me hope everyone and babies are ok xxx

to be honest i keep forgetting it is the weekend, i havent been out and OH is at work!!

hi all,haven't had a chance to do a proper catch up on everyones weeks but hope al are well. scally i'm glad OH caught izzy.
my finley s so close to rolling i cant believe its a tiny turn of the hip to get him over! =

i had my first week back at work this week. it was rubbish. on my first day the head held a whole staff meeting and said there needed to be 4 redundancies for next year. i'm hoping i dont get made redundant as i'll be short for the mortgage if i am. just what i needed really.

Finley loves nursery. smiles ll day and is beginning to take the bottle better. he will now take up to 2oz. doesn't sound much but its a huge improvement.

another 4 weeks till easter!!!

First Alien- sorry to hear about work, hope it all works out ok. Glad Finley has done well at nursery!

We have had a lovely weekend- we went for a meal yesterday with my family- Izzy was very good, until we gave her a bit of a chip, and it had salt on, she screamed to high heaven, think it aggravated her gums. But she calmed and munched on the peas, carrots, swede, and naughty grandad feeding her custard!!! (we now know she isnt allergic to milk). Then today we have had a chilling day, too rainy to go out, but me and OH have been watching films from blockbusters when she naps!

Hey Scally, I've missed you guys too! I'm catching up on all of the threads now We haven't done much this weekend. Had a pretty crappy week and things still aren't great, so OH has gone out with Joe to his parents and I'm at home, chilling on here!! Just our dog Alfie for company!!

Anyhoo, I won't start to moan otherwise I'll never stop lol!!!

I can't wait for the warmer weather. I really love wondering around with Joe in his pram/pushchair but it's always flipping raining I bet it will be lovely when I go back to work in April lol!!

That reminds me about Kathryn...I wonder how her first day back went??

hello all you lovely ladies.... I am so shit at keeping in touch, sorry! Matt and i went out for a meal yesterday for the first time since before Noah was born. It was amazing. So much so we shared 3 puddings (talk about being a fat *******!) x

Update on Izzy's sleeping!!!!!
She has been in her room 8 nights now- slept through fully for 4 of those nights, and the other 4 only waking up once or twice!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So Diz i highly recommend putting Noah in his room, it worked wonders for us!!!

O.K Scally, we'll give it a go.... might take some convincing on Matts half as he thinks his room is too cold. Its great that Izzy has slept so well since shes gone in her own room.

Noah is doing great. He's a proper little chatter box now. He loves his food! If i'm eating and he's not then he kicks off - its so funny.

Kathryn is fine. Her first day back at work went well and Isaac was good for her mum.... (hope you don't mind me updating the girls K?)

hi,

OH boss is a prat! there is no-1 above him, theres only OH and boss in the company. he did eventally see sense and OH had to get a lift over to get the van late last night so he could get work today.


has anyone ever been to the circus of horrors? my nan has agreed to have the boys here on sun eve so that me and OH can go. got go buy the tickets tomorrow unless the theatre will hold them and we pay sun when we get there.


have you seen kiddiecare have stage 1 car seats at half price?
