Hope everyone's doing well. I have had hardly anytime to myself to come on here, with work and my ball-of-energy called Joe! But am gonna be back on here whenever I can xx

hey all! i dont think anyone really comes in here anymore! hey diz, are u all sorted for Christmas yet? i am in the process of putting up my tree...halfway through but thought i deserved a break! how many walkers do we have now then? Chloe still doesnt fancy it but she is close! (i hope!) lol xxx

Joe's not walking yet, he'll wander round for ages just touching my finger tips, not even holding on, but he's lazy and prefers crawling lol!! I must admit I do get abit jealous when I hear of other LO's his age and younger walking already but he's a cool dude and will do it in his own time

Chloe does the same! infact she actually took her first 3 steps on her own last thursday but since then she has only taken one step here and there!! (3 extra total!) lol

How was everybody's christmas and new year?

The difference from last years one was huge, she was crying all the time, didnt want to be round anyone, and would not sleep at my dads, this year she on form, even if she did have a chest infection, she was smiling, walking around with her walker, and enjoying the food and festivities!

New year so far has flopped- Izzy started being sick the night before, and has only started to improve now, and then i got the bug, and now dave has it- so at the moment this house has the lurgy!!! We are hoping to go away in a couple of days but will have to see if everyone is well!

How is everyone and you LO's? Anymore BFP's?

hi,

hope u all had good christmas and new year. we did. christmas looked like a toy shop, there were toys and paper everywhere - 3 kids, 2 kids and a cat all mixed in! new year my mates 14yr old offered to babysit so me and OH went out and had a good night.

hows the pregnancies and the tryings going??? has anyone got else pregnant yet?

OH boss ended his contract mid dec on medical grounds that OH not fit to do his job, even though OH on a medical cert. have already spoken to a solicitor and been told that the grounds he has done it we cant take him to a tribunal for unfair dismissal. the docs have said had OH been in a car NOT a 3.5tonne lorry he wouldnt be here now! he has been refered to the muscular-skeletal unit at the hospital as they reckon theres more damage than they thought. the solicitor dealing with injury claim has said this putsa whole new light on the amount we will be looking at, we are now looking at £10K upwards rather than the £5-8k they initally said.

sadly for us, this means at the moment we still cant move up north as planned as OH cant drive still. we have now lost 2 houses since the accident BUT we hope once it goes though etc we will have enough money to put as a deposit and buy a new house instead of renting 1.



has anyone managed to get LO's off bottles completely? blake will now drink juice from a beaker BUT still has anywhere between 3 and 6 bottles of milk in 24hrs, its costing a fortune in teats as he keepsputting his teeth through them - they last about 3days!!! i spoke to HV and she said if he wants milk in a bottle still let him have it.

he is still a dinky dot - he 16months old, still in 9-12month clothes, still has very little hair, BUT does have all his teeeth through (1 corner of most) and a major attitude and temper!!! we get full scale 2yr old strops - thrown to floor, arms n legs going and if you go near him he gets louder/worse!!! lol!

Amy, we are still on about 4 bottles of milk, she just won't give itup! we managed to get her on Nuby beakers though, they are magic for moving from baby bottles.
I'm so sorry your OH is having troubles with work, I hope things pick up soon!
Pregnancy going well, Sunday is when I get to Alex's gestation. Gulp. Still have confidence though!
Alex is slowly moving into9-12 months, she seems to be catching up better. We still have reflux though but we are better equipped for it these days when we are out

Chloe is in 12-18/18-24 stuff. she has short legs and a long body so dungerees are a nightmare! lol she is 2yr+ tops yet 9-12 bottoms in some stuff! Can't believe i'm gona be a mummy again can't wait! xxx

Joe still has a bottle a bedtime (with a soft spout beaker, not a bottle) and sometimes 1 in the day. but he has about 8oz of milk on his breakfast so I suppose it's more like 3!

I can't believe so many of us are pregnant!! I think we'll maybe start trying again at the end of this year but we'll see how it goes.

How many LO's are walking yet? Joe stll isn't, just when I think he's nearly there he stops even trying!

Alex is the same Vicks. She can go if I hold her arms, but minute I let go she grabs a wall or kneels. Think its confidence really. We catch her standing with no support for a moment but she doesn't realise

Yeah, Joe's exactly the same Sandi. I just read on here about 1 year olds walking and panic abit!

Aw vicks tell me about it. My friends 26 weeker has been walking for ages, I'm like, stunned, shes so minature! don't worry about it, it really is still early days believe it or not.

I'm ok. Todays the day! The gestation I went into labour with Alex. But I'm confident enough to get through today.

Amy- Izzy is on one bedtime bottle, she has milk in the morning but has it in a beaker. I am not letting the bedtime bottle go, i love the cuddles before she goes to bed!
Sorry to hear about your OH and u not being able to move, hope it all gets sorted soon.

sb22- Yay for getting past Alex's gestation, that must have been so scary!

Vicks- Izzy was walking a bit and doing quite well, but she has been poorly and now she seems to have lost all of her confidence, she will sit down straight away if u try and stand her, and will cry, i think she needs to build up the confidence again!

I have just bought a Loola off of e bay, our buggy is so big (silver cross sleepover), and if we go away it takes up most of the boot! plus i can never get on buses! She doesnt like facing forward, so the loola was the best option! whats everyone doing for buggies now?
Izzy is teething yet again, we have 8 more to go, i have a countdown i cant wait until they all come through she is such a bad teether!
Also is anyone having the swine flu jab for their LO? I am going to ring to see if izzy can have it, but in some parts of the country they arent doing children, only ones who are at risk.
