septembryos baby area (09 babies)

hi :flower:

hope everyone is ok.

we're nnot too bad, OH has finally been granted benefits and free school meals for the boys, which is good news. we may actually be able to pay some bills!!! since his boss ended his contract we have been living on child tax only, not easy with 3 kids and bills.

Ally, we haven't been offered the swine flu jab. Not sure if I should check, do they just offer it in some parts of the country?
x

Hey vicks- we phoned up the docs to check and they arent giving it to children yet, i didnt worry about it last year, but this year it is sooooo scary x
Glad u have got some help financially amy x

I think I'll wait to see if they offer it around here. I saw in the news about young children being given it, but haven't seen or heard anything from our doctors and I know they are doing the flu injections now as my mum has had one.

Hope everyone's ok x

None of the preemies at my bliss group are being offered, it's really frightening, especially the new preemies :( I don't get the logic, children have poor immune systems.

sb22- oh gosh that is scary, especially with the new premmies, i do think they have lost sight of why they are offering the vaccinations x

hi

me and middle son had the flu jabs in oct as we both asthmatic. they made us ill for few days.

i'm having a party next year as it be my 30th. i cant wait. already found my dress, and have 3 possible venues.

Amy I'm sorry you can't move yet! I know you've been wanting too for a long time now! I hope things get better for you!

LeeLee Congrats on your BFP!

Vicky I feel left out too. As I wanted a :bfp: and hadn't got one. Now I'm back on BCP's and trying to keep Lennox from nursing so I can take some meds to help me lose weight and get my cholesterol in check. I think sometime next year I will be back to ttc a girl! Have you got Joe in a program like our birth to three program to help your LO with walking, talking and anything else he may need?

sb22 Glad you are passed the gestational age of when you had Alex! I hope you make it to 37 weeks or later!

Lennox is in 18 and 24 month clothes. I hope he stays at 24 months through summer as I have clothes from the twins he can use.

How many words are you LO's saying?

Lennox only says mama, dada, hi, Eli and oh-oh.

I'm trying to get him in the birth to three program to get him speech as I can't get him to sign.

My oh has been out of work since mid-September and even though he has been applying he has not had an interview. He has been getting unemployment since his work fired him, but then right before Christmas he got a letter in the mail stating he had to go to a hearing yesterday because his former employer was contesting him getting unemployment do to misconduct. so he had that yesterday and the judge kept throwing out the evidence they were trying to submit because it was things back in 2007 when he first started there and an accident that happened in August that the boss testified that he knew Chad did not deliberately run over the scanner. So my oh should be getting the ruling in the mail next week in his favor.

Also, my OH was going to go to school this semester, but because unemployment wants him available for work during the day Monday- Friday he cannot go cuz those are the only times available for the classes and he only wants to go part time till he gets in the swing of things as he hasn't set foot in a classroom since 1992.

Alex doesn't say a thing  she is becoming more vocal and squeals and shouts, I can tell how shes feeling by her shouts, it's weird....

I was in the shower and she was desperately trying to feel the water I could have sworn she screams muuuuuuuuuuuuum! or maybe not :dohh:
I think she takes more in though, she understands basics of what I say to her, she just won't speak back.

She has a hearing test soon and neonatal to check her development. It's about this time where all the preemies seem to be getting diagnosed with something, all her other lil friends have, I'm sure we are next, I feel like we have been too lucky so far...

Hello been ages since i've popped in to say hello so thought i would stop by. Billy hasn't had the flu jab even though he has asthma i rang and asked for it but they said they aren't doing under 5's. Billy still has his bedtime bottle but drinks out of beakers for the rest of the day. He doesn't really talk either just mum, dad, Amber, brother, ball and up he can't say callem so says brother which is too cute.

mom2pne- sorry to hear about your OH's work, what a horrid boss! hope he manages to find a job soon. Hope u get your bfp soon too!! Izzy says a few words- mum, dad, yeah, bear, again, bye, bubyes (bedtime- not sure how to spell that!), duck, ta- she has said some others but they were only once so havent included them. She is very vocal and less physical, its so funny when she does something shes not supposed to she babbles to u when u say no, its like she is trying to explain why she is doing it, she has her hand turned upwards too when she does it! lol.
sb22- hope the hearing test and neonatal checks go ok, she is so clever and doing so well, bless her!
Faun- thats so bad about billy not having it even though his asthmatic, my neighbours children both have asthma but they have said they wont do the jabs unless they are on the brown inhalor??

We went to a mother and baby group today and we have finally found a good one!!!! yay!!!! it is has a waiting list, which i have been on for a couple of months, they have only a small group, the toys are clean, the room is clean, and all the mums play with all the babies/toddlers/children etc. I am so happy to finally find a nice one, and usually Izzy clings to me in the ones i have been at before, but she just went for it here, wanted to get stuck in straight away!!!
x

Scally you must be a confident lady, I can't even bring myself to go to these groups! I got to the local Bliss group but that's all preemies and mums having a chinwag, a bit more like a gathering

I don't go to mummy and baby groups either i joined a facebook page for mums in my area and met some lovely ladies so we meet once a month at soft play and Billy loves it. I love it too as i enjoy the chats and we go on a mummys night out once a month normally bowling or cinema or meal and drinks.
Sandi i'm sure Alex will pass all her tests with flying colours she has come on in leaps and bounds.
Billy is on the brown inhaler but they said no under 5's whatever! Even my friends little boy the one who had brain cancer can't have it which is shocking. Speaking of which how is your friends little boy Ally?

sb22- gosh i am not confident at all!!! but this one was so welcoming!

Faun- the group u meet up with sound nice.
it seems to vary from doctors to doctors about who can and cant have it, its a bit mad that your friends little boy cant have it even though he has had brain cancer!
He has just finished his second round of chemo, poor little monkey was so poorly over christmas, huge temperature, and he somehow managed to get an infection in the hospital, so had to fight that. He has lost all of his hair, and eyelashes (they were gorgeous), and has stopped eating. He has just had a few days at home before he starts the next round of chemo x

Hey ladies! We go (about once a month) to one baby group, but it's not great anymore. I go with a friend and her little boy to a story and ryhme group but Joe won't sit still anymore and so I don't think he gets much out of it anymore. I prefer going to soft play where there's lots for him to do.

Hope everyone's ok x

Chloe can say; mummy, daddy, teddy, dolly, sid (her dog teddy), please, seeya, bubye, baby (and points to my stomach!), duck, ta, uh oh, oh wow, yeah, no, gone and i swear she can say *wheres it gone*! she always says it when i hide something from her! lol
thats quite a few!
she can now walk accross the room...about 16 steps :D yay xxx

hi all,

can finally get back on here. not sure what has been going on but snce i last posted everytime i have come on here and try to read the 1st un-read post it flicks back to page 5! and then back again, its stupid!!!

How many words are you LO's saying?

Lennox only says mama, dada, hi, Eli and oh-oh.

blake doesnt shut up!!! he doesnt out words together yet but he says lots! the normal - muma, dada, baba (his doll), j (big bro), zee (mackenzie bro), bot-bot, juice. then we have things like - ish (fish in tak), dip-sh*t (at Gypsie te dog. LOL!), cat, yes, no, bad, shoes, poo (when he has done 1).

thing is his brothers always talk to him, me and OH are both at home wit him all day and talk to him, and the neighbour is round loads and shes his god mother so talks to him.

we did go to mums n tots but not for ages cos OH cant lift things with his neck and therefore its not fair leaving him at home for few hrs as he cant do much. he is getting bit more movement etc and has said we need to go back, trying to get him to come with us as it will get him out of house for bit.

Pmsl at Blake and his doggy name calling! I LOVE it, sorry!
