Well I ran up 2 flights of stairs in mothercare, but no waters were broken ha ha ha!!

All fine at my MW appt, sweep booked for Mon and Weds and induction prob Friday...jeeeezus that isn't that long away!

Still getting bloody show, midwife is hopeful with the aches that I won't get to Monday...yeah, yeah, yeah

sounds like great news cracker. my midwife was quite sure she'd see me on monday! its nice you know what you've got ahead of you next week. i know i'll get one sweep on monday and then they'll book induction. i dont get any second tries with the sweep! although they said induction should be wed-friday of next week! only another week or a week and a bit without baby!

am becoming more positive now i know it'll be really soon. although deep inside i have the awful feeling that my body wont be doing it on its own!

Hey - had a great clinic registrar see me - she was happy to do a sweep and said that the cervix is softening nicely and she could tell from the levels of mucus (plug?) that it was commencing.

My cramps are obviously early stage, and, even better, she agreed to another 24 hours before induction (which is grand all round as apparently Ormskirk are full and struggling for beds for inductees) so she either makes her own way overnight or I call up tomorrow afternoon with a view to going in tomorrow evening.

If I get to that stage I may only need waters breaking to give me a shove

She also said to expect a baby bigger than the last one....so either tis another case of bizarre guesswork or we're looking 9lbish! (as long as she heads out I don't care what weight she is!!)

I also sent a message to FOB saying I will have a baby in the next 48 hours and was planning on just mailing when I was home but to let me know if he wanted to know any sooner...his response? "I'm not interested."

Errrrr....I know that....I only want to have some paternity acknowledgement, not a teddy bear and flowers...how can he have the DNA test he claims to want if he doesn't even know there is a baby?!

I had last night's leftover curry, getting that 7/8minute cramping that isn't really a contraction and hoping it will increase to something decent in the night....soooo pleased to have my libra baba but not close birthdays as my little girl really wanted her own space but a horoscope buddy baby

Hope everyone else gets good appointments and sweeps if nothing happens before..... anyway!

Finn is getting on just great, OH and I are totally in love with him. We went to a meet up with our NCT class today and he was by far the biggest baby there I still don't know how he fitted inside me or how I got him out.....

Anyway. This motherhood thing is tiring and I don't seem to have much time to myself but it is sooooooooo the best thing ever

well my labour ward are a load of bollox!...diagnosed over the phone that the cramps ect is from baby engaging with bouncing on ball and walking a lot!...ok so i'm 6 days over due and at my last appt baba was engaged apparently!....argh what a set of prats!...might end up with a homebirth bumpkin at this rate lol

will ring MY MW in the morn n see what she says....BORED NOW!! i want a baby!...my nan has been ringing today just to make sure she's not a great nana without knowing lol

I haven't caught up on old posts, but my hospital tried to tell me my pains were just my cervix moving.... to cut a long story short, it turned out I was 3-4cms engaged! So if you think it's labour make sure they actually check you in person

misswren i'm glad things are moving along for you and you may just be the first sept mummy in october!

chatting to my hubby earlier i was suprised how upbeat i feel. i hate the whole due date thing and now its passed i'm alot happier. i just think anytime before next weekend is a bonus! also its very strange how we are all now wishing pain upon ourselves! i'm also really looking forward to monday to find out how i'm progressing!

Im shattered. Had 3 weeks of Lily up through the ngiht. Then last week she decides actually I am going to sleep through - bliss had a week of that. Last 2 nights Ive had to feed her twice through the night again! arrrrggggh would have been better if she hadnt gone a week of not getting up!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I haven't been around much, due date came and went (monday) will be seeing the midwife on Friday.. If LO doesn't arrive I will have to have an induction nxt week.. Probably for the best as this last trimester hasn't been too kind to me, been up and down my hospital everytime I've seen her... I will do my best to keep you posted as and when I can.. Best of luck 2 all the latecommers and congrats 2 the new mums..
